This from my experience. 1. Grip you racket as hard as you can while playing and slowly loosen your grip until you can comfortably control your racket. 2. Use your wrist. Reason why i grip the racket hard is to prevent your wrist to overbent while hitting. 3. Practice.
The backhand grip on the deep forehand corner, like the panhandle grip on the late backhand corner.. The naming should really get an update since those are the grip pro uses.
What I'm really interested in is how lin dan used to make clear shot using same motion. I'm sure it's a great deception when your opponent can make clear or drop shot using exact same motion
When I got my first badminton,i didn't now about the techniques and rules, but I am a using this slice drop since that time and everyone call me idiot and my teahnique also😢,but this technique is tooo good thanks
My favorite Drop shot ❤. Just sugessiin 1.When you play slice drop shot Badminton racket slice slopped ... 2.you should drop that shot at the end of the net ...if he takes..one option cross to net other option netting Drop .or he will defenetily clear to back court ..at athat time you defenetily hit to His back court 😊
Thanks Nihal! Volant are friends of our channel, I reccomend checking out their gear. Ax77 is a nicely balanced racquet, good weight, easy to use. Though I feel it would perform better with a slightly stiffer shaft. To get the best out of this racquet I reccomend stringing it high, 28 to 32lbs.
Exactly...was about to comment the same. Fast drop shot doesnt mean is good. At times, player need to play slow shot to enable better follow up. Therefore, a good player must be able to play slow and fast pace. They must know when to play fast and when is better to play slow.
You could be :-) as we don't know who Liu Chung Woi is? ;) I think you mean Lee Chong Wei - Maestro .. Good for you. Why don't you take a video and post it ?
Hi cant really tell if you are using the actual backhand or forehand grip with the thumb up or not. Yall just address the racket turn, would be great if yall could clarify
Is this actually a good tactic for singles defence deep in the corners?? Adding pace to the shuttle gives your opponent something to work with and counter more easily. Drop shots from the rear court are better played with less pace (but not floated either - though Tai Tzu Ying's beautifully paced floated tight cut drop shots to the net are amazing!!). Also drop shots that are hit to land towards the service line give you more time to return to your base and also give your opponent less of an angle to play a tight net return. This shot is useful if you can maintain an attacking play - ie. more of a fast drop or semi-drive into space. But if it's deep in your corners and you're taking it behind you it's hard to hit it down. But if you're getting out of trouble, a slower paced drop would be a better option IMO.
Yes, men's game is different. They're so fast they can play a tight net spin off a slow drop or they can just "hold you" cuz they arrived at the net so early
You mean the shuttle travel slower? If you watch LinDan vs Peter Gade in the world championships there is several points scored using this exact shot. It remain effective if the opponent has slow legs or is wrong footed.
In the doubles it is possible at the time when both opponent players standing in same line, if any one of them standing at the front corner then your front player face will be 😂😂
Nice Try! ( Trying to get potential clients for this UNKNOWN prototype unit.[ Just use A 500 ml plastic water bottle- Hold (Gently)with the Bottle cap into your palm ( as you would hold ur Racket) n PRACTICE figure of 8( eight). Both Clockwise n Anticlockwise. * 30 seconds to 10 mins while watching TV, in bus or train ride ect...) ** Make sure you don't aggravate Tennis or Golf elbow. All the Best.
Wow good...! is there any techniques to improve control in badminton??
Yea. Practice
Just do a lot of practice against wall and you will see difference in a week

Also, buy a good racket which is designed more for "control"
I have watched the clip. Understand more with the right drop shot. FC from Thailand
When the ending part reminds me of Japan.
💀
I know this very well and love to play this shot. When it goes from racket like a bullet
Pls do more tips and tricks of badminton stroke🙏👍
How about the backhand drop slice?
a superb coaching, so easy to understand.
Thai Tzu Ying is a masterclass for this shot.
The backhand grip on the deep forehand corner, like the panhandle grip on the late backhand corner..

Astrox 77! great racket!

step your forward foot very alsost at the same time you hit the birdie, instead of slicing it a little more directly up. Practice it.
its the same position but not same motion. to clear you need to hit flat and not slice.
Thanks so much coach for tutorial tips
Where are you guys now 😢😢
Awesome tutorial, great production quality as always!
Thanks dball champ
Not bad, just shame about all the like/subscribe/ad interruptions. It gets tiresome. The 7-minute vid could be 3 minutes.

Thanks Nihal!

@@SmashSecrets Ok thanks a lot for your quick response
I'll be sure to check out Volant wear, I've even subscribed to their newsletters!
Take care!
Wow, Truly great
Very good 👍👍👍...informative
Is the course still available ?
The link was broken
when you in defence, especially in single, you don't wanna do quick slice drop with sharpe angle because it would be hard for you to follow up

@@alvinchong5597fast shots are actually better under pressure because it stops the opponents from doing a tight net shot

Badminton Connect at Noble?
You got it
Which racket do you use? Is it Astrox 6????
Astrox77
good
Super wow super coach
Due to shuttle rotation forehand slices do not work well for left handed players
You mean the shuttle travel slower?

Hi !when is your new toy coming out?
Hopefully in the next within the next 12 months, depending on the interest in the community:)
Lin Dan powerfull forehand
When you are showing us the grip you need to show the whole Racket otherwise we don't know where you holding it
I used to think slice shot was my unique speciality that only I can do.... and now you're saying it's a international technique?! 😑
Same here
nice cheek bones bro

Dear sir please give me Hindi language videos.
Ur position is too passive...U will get trouble easily if ur opponent is faster than u ...
Ya its true even I was thinking the same
@@rn_edits ya,we can see his bend his right knee joint almost 90 degree.
Should see how did Lin Dan make it,that is more correct .
