I missed a few there but, I'm back!
I'd like each of you to choose a literary subset of punk. These include, but are not limited to, cyberpunk, steampunk, dieselpunk (my personal favorite), biopunk, atompunk, plaguepunk, etc.
Optionally, Karina doesn't get a choice, she must do glitterpunk. For no other reason than I want to see it.
I survived a school shooting yesterday and I was so excited to see this posted. It’s very hard right now, but I always love y’all’s videos. This was a wonderful distraction from everything that happened. Thank you so much ❤
SPEED DRAWING SUGGESTION: advertisement posters for a nonsense product, like a yell-powered bicycle or a handheld toaster, idk but I know y'all would have fun, and Nathan would riff SO hard.

I love this but could we add the control element of the Random Photoshop Tool challenge? As in, one person is a demanding executive who keeps modifying the brief as the artist is drawing it?

I Want to See This One
Next year you should come back to this episode and try to guess the prompts based on the drawings
The subscribe button appearing while Jacob does cbat is my favourite part of this episode
So, wait, if you only do the lineart because it is Inktober, should the next months be Flatvember and Shadecember?
Cups, diamonds, horseshoes, and hand grenades.
This reading calls you to continue the Drawfee Tarot Deck!
“I cAn’t *believe* thEy kePt NathAn ouTsi-…”
Also, these drawings made me laugh more than usual, felt good ❤
*Wow!!!! You put a rat in a hotdog bun! That's so creative Julia*
I had almost forgotten about Jason Alexander's most famous post-"Seinfeld" role ever: that one gargoyle from that one hunchback cartoon! Truly a strong character from a strong "Seinfeld" alumnus. Please draw Strong "Seinfeld" so I can push out the memory of that movie.
"Pass the wine and CUT THE CHEESE!" was the catchphrase on the nation's lips.
Haven't drawn in years due to ADHD and Depression and the prompt that broke it was the Ponytail and the question of how a hormse/pomey would wear pants. Yet my thought was then how would a horse wear a bra and pants. Drawing gods why was this the thing that set me back into art?! XD
great, now I have to think about a horse bra. I mean, a horse's milk bar is between their hind legs.
Never look a gift horse in the mouth
I just did this along with y'all and it was so much fun! It was fun listening while drawing and seeing what yall had drawn when I was done!
I love that Jacob drew a shellder
Very fun episode! I think my favorite drawing from each was the scurrying mouse, the bird fowl, and the camping bear roasting marshmallows. Honorable mention to the multiple Joys, the tripping guy who showed up in all three sets, and frantically typing Raymond
"wow you put a rat in a hotdog bun!"
this made me do one of those breathy giggles, thanks karina
I'd love to see an episode where you guys draw alternate versions of Jacob. I love the Jacob we have and I think there is a lot of potential there. Maybe like an aquatic Jacob, a shady car dealership Jacob, or Jacob with three eyes!
Karina: “he ate the campers and is now using their campsite!” Me: “oh shit new yogi bear lore just dropped.”
dude! the spooky avatars!! hell yeah!! everyone’s is so cool, and jacob’s made me laugh a bit (the ghost with a beard is so funny to me for no apparent reason)
hey this is a kinda sappy comment but i’m sick so it’s gonna be a little emo.
y’all and your art videos are so inspiring to me as a high school artist because while your art isn’t perfect, you always have so much fun making it and you don’t get upset if it doesn’t look like how you wanted it to in your head. you’re all so creative and funny and your videos are seriously comforting to me. i hope that i can be like you guys, not because you’re perfect, but because you love what you do and you have so much fun doing it. i hope you guys have a wonderful life and that there are many small wonders that come to greet you in your journey
I love these speed draw challenges! The results are always so cute and funny, and it makes me feel less stressed about making art.
Suggestion! Find the craziest taxidermied animals ever then have one artist describe it to another to draw! Then you guys guess what it is! This is THE SKIN GAME!!
Suggestion: you should try drawing Discworld characters that you've never heard of/based on their descriptions! There are so many incredible characters, like Nobby Nobbs, Moist von Lipwig, and the Hogfather!
These are my favourite books, and I think they could always use more love 🥰

I would love to see a combination drawing where each person adds one thing to the piece based off and random word generator.
Man, Jacob is such a good character designer
jacob intro: exists
drawfee: its free real estate
i was really confused when karina said that they shook like trees in a gust of wind or whatever until i realised she was describing the movement i just made as well lmao
I love how Jacob kept the beard on his ghost
The bat that's angry that it exists is a mood and a half
These are so cute! Love the recurring bit of inanimate characters getting arms and legs and questioning their existence. The salty Nathan and the confused Eugene are wonderful as well!
i absolutely love the little comic they ended up making together it brings me so much joy
From jump the energy of this episode is top notch
delighted to open my eyes in the midst of falling asleep and see that Jacob has drawn the exact idea i had for scurry
This is just pictionary and I'm living for it.
I was mildly surprised that Julia was in the middle, instead of at the end like she usually is.
Nathan already done did a grow up... How else could I believe to learn that he was looking through a 3rd story window?!?!?!
omg he's so tall
4:48 Just when I thought I could escape CBAT, it somehow still finds a way to haunt me.
The haunted way Karina says "Julia, this is weird" at 26:10 really gets me
so glad joy and julia are friends again
The way Jacob cuts himself off and says "okay" when Julia starts ruining the eagle kills me
Alternative title: Drawfee does flash tattoos that I will absolutely get done
I loved Nathan's drawings he's been improving so much, gosh I know they think it's weird we always compliment him but jee golly
fun fact what jacob drew was TECHNICALLY a grotesque.
gargoyles were the ones that spit out water they were the faces/monsters hooked up to the gutter system of the building.
all the other sculptures were called grotesques
gargoyle has the same origin as gargle
also if i spelled anything wrong i have dyslexia
anyway we call them all gargoyles now, but technically thats wrongs :)
