Was wearing my Todd from Mario shirt yesterday and had to pop into the chemist for some eye drops and the woman who served me actually recognised it, she was like “Oh my god is that a Todd from Mario shirt? Love it!” Which was first time anyone ever recognised the reference so that was cool while also a little embarrassing because I knew my shirt was absolutely covered in cat fur lol

Ok I know Julia doesn't like her stuff on these short timed drawing episodes, but I love them. It's honestly really impressive how expressive she and the gang can be in such a short time. Like in just a few lines there's so much emotion in those faces, and honestly it's really cool.

After the first few years of trying to do inktober I realized that it made me hate making art. So now, October is just the "hey, do whatever art you normally would at a reasonable pace" month and so I end up being more prolific in October than when I was trying to do a single drawing every day.
I do love that even though its been literally almost 2 years since Karina's glasses airport toilet event, we are still referencing it. Like ancient karina lore

Suggestion: Mash up two characters with the same name, e.g. Napoleon (Animal Farm) X Napoleon (Napoleon Dynamite), Hades (Hades) X Hades (Hercules).
Or some old school-style knockoffs. Would love to see some of those again some day.

Drawing suggestion: draw each other into an isekai. Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.

I DID IT! I was watching the episode on one screen and doing the challenge on the other one. 40+ minutes of pure fun and chaos . I liked some of the sketches, thinking about finishing them. You guys should try this, pick one of the drawings and give free time to finish it off. Thanks for the video.

Month long drawing challenges are hard! I've never been able to draw all 31 prompts. Even trying to finish pieces every two days when I had no school or work was tiring for me. I think as long as the drawing challenge inspired you to make a drawing you otherwise wouldn’t have or got you out of an artblock, that's all that matters

One artist draws something and the other 3 render it.
Each in their own style, So there's 3 different renders of the same original sketch.
drawing suggestion: make up new experiments from lilo and stitch! most of them have names but not descriptions so it'd be up to you to decide what experiments such as snarfhonk, b.v. beaverton, and noidster would look like.
The final image of all of the drawings together is truly special.
