Seeing how fast I recognized David Tennant as Crowley is proof of how good Karina is at describing things by vives and how good Julia is at interpreting them, it’s incredible.
Also it was so fun feeling that I was involved in the joking with Nathan and Karina as soon as I recognized the character... it's really amazing how the "no bitches" eyebrows made me know exactly who it whas so quickly (also Karina whispering "how appropriate" when Julia turned the shark into an angel)
I was so delighted when I figured out Julia was drawing David Tenant as Crowley, she really did include Michael Sheen without knowing it, love that for Karina and Nathan. 😂
Even when drawn by someone who has no idea who they are, they cannot be separated (even if aziraphale gets mammalian shark-ified)

Karina is absolutely correct with the vibes of the first one. As a longtime fan, he absolutely does have the vibe of a sweet child of a ballerina and sk8er boi that hides tator tots in his cheeks with eyes that know how to work a camera.
And as a non-fan (not not a fan, just... not a fan.. does that make sense?) that basically only has the vibes from the picture. I would say the description of that vibe is spot on

I just wanted to say thanks to whoever is editing for including pictures of the celebrities because I litteraly know no one and sometimes I don't get the jokes because I don't know what the person looks like
Karina did a great job. I think I started suspecting Jungkook after "went to Claire's and got the one piercing and couldn't wait until he's 18" and he really does have tatertot secrets that's SO important.
Also love the mammal love in this episode. So many mammals I never knew about like mammalian saw sharks. I learn so much from this channel.

Karina is SO good at reading the vibes, I'm amazed how she managed to guide them into creating three roughly accurate portraits without giving any concrete physical descriptions.

Between this video and the "Expert Mode" sketch artist challenge where it was just yes and no questions and Julia flawlessly deciphered the vague "euuughahhyea?" noises Karina often gave instead, I think Julia just perfectly understands how Karina's mind works in a way the boys don't. Probably bc she's so good at portraiture in general, so she can supplement Karina's uncertainy.

Julia’s noise at 12:20 (when Nathan starts drawing the hair) is the perfect mirror to Nathan’s “GUH” from the drawing animals by their scientific names episode (when Julia extended the bird neck). 😂
Now I am very deep in my Good Omens hyperfocus so that might be part of the reason I got it so quickly but ohhhh boy I was so impressed with how Karina read Crowley for filth in this without knowing the character at all. From the jaw that looks like it wants to say something but isn't to the "no bitches" eyebrows to the eyes that are kinder than you'd assume from the rest of the face to the "overly stylish but would never admit to trying" fashion, it's all spot on and honestly in brief covers why I've been so in love with Crowley as a character since the book came out forever ago. Nicely done!
I am also very deep into a Good Omens obsession and I am ashamed that although Crowley was literally the ONLY person I could think of I gaslit myself into not believing it could be because I have no perception of how popular things/characters are outside of the fandom that I hyperfocus into lmao!

Not to be that guy but I'm 100% that guy, hyperfixation = strong interest in something (a piece of media, a hobby) over time, that can last anywhere from a week to years. Hyperfocus = when your brain does that tunnel vision on a specific thing, and then time is no longer real, you feel me. Kind of like the experience of going down a rabbit hole on an interest, or focusing intensely on work for several hours at a time. Or being possessed with a demon that tells you to clean your house at 3 am instead of sleep :) I am ok

I have a hard time with daily life and if it weren't for my wife, I would struggle to feed myself even. Karina giving the "No Bitches?" descriptor for Crowley's eyebrows is so fucking funny cuz he's the one without the bitches rn cuz he done fucked up and made his almost but not actually official angel boyfriend sad. The eyebrows are to himself as he looks into a damn mirror!! The video got even better cuz when it was revealed who it was cuz Nathan was going over the clues again and got back to the eyebrows and Karina's cackle knowing how accurate it is. I just wanted to say that David has really upped their editing game lately and it's so good
Drawing suggestion: draw each other into an isekai. Example- Nathan is king of dinosaurs in a prehistoric world; Karina uses a Digimon deck in a YuGiOh-esque dimension; Julia is a Drawtective in an isekai full of vampires; and Jacob is the leader of a bunch of little guys rebelling against hot villains.
Jacob is in a school anime with BanchoLeoMon beating up delinquents

that's actually a great idea. There are a lot of Pokémon who have very misleading silhouettes. I'd love to see what she makes of Reuniclus or Tangrowth. lots of blocky space in those, she'd never guess what they actually look like.
They actually already did that like 5 years ago! It wasn't just Julia, but it was Pokémon silhouettes. If you look up drawfee Pokémon silhouette it should come up!

Hey I have a suggestion: what if you guys sold the Drawtectives seasons as like, modules to play ? You know, like the story with all the clues in a doc or even physical booklet-thingy so fans of the show can GM the story for their friends! Both seasons so far have **so** many incredibly cool details and illustrations that I can't help but want to pore through everything myself and then maybe even get to tell the story to someone else!

I think they discussed an art book during a stream but the issue with that is compiling it and then getting it printed. Plus they have no way of knowing how many will actually sell and it would be a hassle to get a re-print later because there's no guarantee it would be exactly the same as the initial release based on if they would be able to use the same printer company or not.
