2025 Acura MDX finally gets a touchscreen (and other updates)

The 2025 Acura MDX sees a number of updates and upgrades, especially inside, where a new infotainment system is a potential game-changer for Acura's flagship SUV. Its 12.3-inch touchscreen featuring Google built-in is basically what you’d find in the range-topping Honda Accord, but that’s OK, and that’s also not the big news. It replaces the very much unloved and very weird True Touchpad interface Acura has been using in its current generation of cars. The new 2025 MDX also gets Bang & Olufsen sound systems, including the most powerful audio system in an Acura ever, and updated driver assistance system hardware. There are subtle styling differences, which are harder to tell, but we point them out in this video.

I did not notice there was a touchpad on the Acura MDX, but gladness to see it vanished for 2025.🙌🏻💯🔥

The pre-MMC MDX already looked great... but the minor changes, especially to the Type S (and assuming the A-Spec), really refines the current design even more. And of course, no touchpad!!!! Finally!

I like everything they did except both front ends. Looks like garbage. Previous design looks way better. And why would you make the aspec and type s front end look the same? Doesn't make any sense.
