Because you said you’re going to glue the track down, are you also gonna spike ‘m? Only am familiar with the plio-bond. The down side of such contact adhesives is that they can ‘soap up’ when they come in contact with water. Cheerio

I tried weathered rail myself on my previous layout...more trouble than it's worth in my opinion. Great update!

KCS had an exhibit at the Louisiana state fair grounds, and I was a part of that exhibit for 20 years, and that's how I got started in this hobby.

On one of our FreeMo modules, we used Barge cement, and after 14 years, it is still holding up.
