dancer is so easy these days, especially after they buffed dark hand. if you cant beat her pre bort, you can beat her post by getting the pilgrim, dying a bunch, getting yuria, buying dank hand, and pimp smacking that booteh.
In case anyone wants to know what to do from the end of this video on if they want good arcane damage, the next thing to do is go to Forbidden Woods and go to the poison lake behind the doggies that leads to Iosefka. In that lake, to the left of where you enter it, there is a 15% Nourishing Gem which increases attack of all damage types dealt by the weapon it's on. You can also go to Yahar'Ghul by getting killed by a snatcher and grab the Tonitrus (remember that you have to keep it's L1 self-buff active in order to see the full benefit of its ARC scaling in the damage). If you plan on going up to 20 STR you could also cheese Alfred to get his wheel early. (And since the DLC release, you can also do a suicide run to grab the Boom Hammer + Amygdalan Arm in the first area of the DLC immediately after beating Vicar Amelia)

Just a little tip to help anyone out having trouble with getting twin blood stone shards. (Because, I was at first) After you defeat BSB, go to Cathedral Ward go straight from the lamp. Once outside take a sharp right and and back in a corner should be a tall creepy looking enemy with a bag. Let him kill you (Spend echoes first). You should get a cutscene, afterwards you'll wake up in a cell. Open the door and go left, you should come to a circular set of stairs. Go up the first flight then the next. There will be a big open room with another bag guy and one of the little creatures that drop blood shards when caught and killed. Be careful though as there is a bag guy walking down the stairs behind you and he will 1 shot you if youre following this guide due to being underleveled. But if you run passed him and light the lamp you can come back anytime. Those 2 bag guys are great for twin blood shards. Or atleast in my case (Maybe RNG? Doubt it though) At the time of writing my Arcane is only 24. Best of luck everyone.
With decent blood gems it's possible to do 4500 damage with an Executioners Glove into transformed moonlight GS fully charged R2->R2 combo. Uses 5 bullets, so you can even do this at 0 quicksilver. And that's not even with the bonus of counterattack.

You just make it all seem, well, possible. And effectively! Trying to go for Papa Guacamole through the tombstones always ended up killing me, but your latest cheese for him was SUPER EFFECTIVE. Trapping Henryk against the door is, I've found, very helpful (Our Hoonter friend always ends up dying for me lol)

If you start from the beginning and don't update the game, the spear riffle will do the same damage when used as a firearm as it dose when used as a hand weapon, this is after fortifying of course.

Died repeatedly to the cleric beast. Died repeatedly to the blood starved beast. Beat Father Gascoigne on my 2nd try, no cheese, no music box, without using my gun. Just my hunter's axe. Then oil and a molotov and a spinning charge attack when he stood still to transform into a beast.

*MORE OIL URNS* jk. Just go with arcane and get some good hunter tools. Go to the chalice dungeons and get better fire gems. The charge attacks can be tricky late game since everything moves at light speed.
I mean, if you're looking for a build that specializes on nothing but Arcane, then you might as well go for 20/12-Strength/Skill to get access of the Logarius Wheel and Holy Moonlight Sword, and then at least 40/30-Vigor/Endurance. Then pump those Arcane numbers as much as hunterly possible. I quickly went to "Mugenmonkey" to try and see what would be an ideal 120 build, and it turned out like this: *Cruel Fate* (least amount of Bloodtinge) Vigor -40 Endurance-33 Strength -20 Skill -12 Bloodtinge- 5 Arcane -60 If you REALLY just want to use a dedicated build with the Steak Driver, with nothing else, then here's what it'd look like: Vigor -40 Endurance-30 Strength -18 Skill - 9 Bloodtinge- 5 Arcane -67
99 arcane is the way to go. Hunter tools keep scaling well, and in some cases even better, all the way up to the stat cap. You won't have enough str/skl for stakedriver or wheel on a dedicated caster, but when auger is hitting for 450+ damage it feels worth it. Also, an odd thing to remember with arcane builds is that weapons with LOWER arc scaling preform better in comparison to a str/skl build with equal investment. Due to the arc stat scaling formula they lose less overal damage than a weapon with high scaling when converted to elemental.
50 Arcane is where Hunter Tools start to get good. In fact, if you're going for Hunter Tools, I reccomend 99 Arcane. No joke, they actually get crazy high scaling past 80 Arcane.

Salted it isnt the explosions, it's the fire gems. Any attack would ignite the oil. The charged attack naturally just does the most damage.

the red gem could be obtained by breaking the locket you find in gascone's boss room and the white could be obtained from giving the doll her comb.
