I remember the first time I saw C.O.O.K.I.E. It was great
I love the story implications of a random hunter arriving in the Hunter's Dream, then leaving to go do hunter stuff.
A while later, they return to Gehrman, having done absolutely nothing about anything, and he decapitates them.
Technically, you killed Mergo, which is the only reason you became a Hunter to begin with.

@@Bokto1 Bro you didn't get the story. You're treated with 'pale' blood, associated with the Moon Presence. The dream was created by the Moon Presence to host hunters that would help her annihilate Mergo. The game does not state why Moon Presence wanted to kill Mergo, but that's the hole point of the game.
@@nicolasconforti2604 throughout the whole game, from the start, PC is interested in notes about Pale Blood (they even ask German about it). Yeah, Moon Presence wants to hunt other Great ones, but PC hunts it. I get it about the blood, but you miss the motivation.

Of course building a lag switch is a standard part of a build guide. I appreciate the dedication it takes to pull off the absurd in such an impractical way.
The absolute dedication and ingenuity in order to avoid playing as much as the game as possible has always been my favourite part of this community.

I am easily able to not play 100% of this game due to it being locked to a console by its developer.
@@Skobeloff... fun fact you can stream the game to PC using Playstation now without needing a consol to play it. Is it a great fix ehhh not the best but its a way without a playstation thats gated by Sony artificially creating scarcity by not making ps5s
@@Skobeloff... All you need to do is find someone with a PS4, clip through their wall, do the item duplication glitch, and you're set.
The playthrough equivalent of calling your older brother to beat part of the game with you and then doing a bunch of weird rituals in the process and afterwords

People have been doing a bunch of convoluted things throughout the years for the frozen shadows glitch and you are telling me that you can do it by just turning left at the fog gate? Truly hilarious
you have to be right at the maximum range at which you can interact with the gate, and then turn left without taking a step, so that the interact option is still there
The most impressive thing about this video is that they got Bloodborne’s multiplayer to work

I didn't even know what a blood-addled hunter _was_ before this video. Fantastic work and dedication by both Ymfah for making this video, and the Bloodborne community for finding these skips. I'm not sure if Bloodborne can get any more broken than this.

This could hypothetically be done without lagswitching, but you would have to use the rooftop skip to deathcam shortly before Amelia's door, and walk a very long way in death cam to get to yharghul. Ive been thinking about a run like this for a long time, but skipping gascoigne was the main thing i couldnt figure out.
Sure, you can easily skip him by going to the forbidden woods, but then youre stuck having to do rom. Great video. (Edit: also, skipping mergo wetnurse is impossible because the slaughtered message at the end is the trigger for gherman moving to the base of the tree, unless theres some crazy quantum entanglement tech you could do with a second ps4 😅)
I wonder what would happen if you did Back In Time after getting the Nightmare Slain message for Mergo
If the OoT/Majora's Mask speedruns have taught me anything, it's that given enough time and interest there is no game that cannot be broken a little bit more than before.
If she is loaded and can fall to her death, we just need to find a way to trigger her fight, leave and despawn the ground.

@@RagnellAvalon I'm pretty sure it bugs the shit out of the game. 2-3 moons in the sky, but unable to progress, because I don't think you can go submit to gherman. The gate remains closed I believe. That's one thing I actually did manage to do in the past I think

Lots of glitches just happen randomly, like someone does it by complete chance. Then they or someone else try and replicate the circumstance to figure out how to make it happen on purpose, and if there's anything useful that can be done with it.
Of all the crazy skips and challenges I've seen for video games on RUclips, this one is by far the most impressive, bravo!
