The clones have always been good, and they were bred to fight for the Republic. You would have seen that in Attack of the Clones. Over the course of the Clone War, they develop really camaraderie with their Jedi generals (the Chancellor tasked the Jedi Order with service in the war as generals). The clones also developed their own personalities, independent minds, and wills. But Palpatine secretly implanted them with bioorganic chips. Once triggered, they would turn into mindless drones ready to kill the Jedi. That was his plan all along. In that moment, clones who had chips in their brains would lose all sense of their surroundings and kill Jedi.

The clones had chips inside their heads/brains. We know that Palpatine had a hand in making sure the chips were there inside them. The cloners on the planet kamino (The cloners were the alien species with long necks from attack of the clones movie.) were the ones who put the chips inside them after Count Dooku had been told by Palpatine/Darth Sidous to tell the cloners to put these chips inside them. What the chips did was allow Darth Sidous to essentially take control of the clones and "execute/activate order 66", once order 66 is activated the chips will make the clones kill the Jedi. In this Clone Wars tv show it goes more in depth and gave us a great look at this. But, the clones weren't bad people. They were good but forced to do bad things because of the chips inside there brains. It's actually kinda sad really, there whole life they fought beside their jedi General and the Jedi trusted them with their life. And once order 66 happened the clones that had built a relationship with the Jedi now had to murder and slaughter them against their will.

Honestly Palpatine's plan off making a clone army for the Republic and knowing that the Jedi would trust and take a liking to them, And then making sure the clones had chips implanted in them. So when he gave the order to betray and kill the Jedi (Really the clones only friends/comrades) was soo brilliant, and even makes him seem more evil.

Hey Christopher's thanks for reacting to this clip. Also to explain some stuff, Master Ima-Gun-Di (the Jedi) was leading the campaign against the separatists (the Droids) on Ryloth with the help of the Ryloth resistance. But some time before this clip, the Separatists fleet destroyed the Republic fleet protecting Ryloth, which left Master Ima-Gun-Di and the Ryloth resistance completely outnumbered with no more clone reinforcements. Also the small ships at the end were there just to drop more supplies, to the Ryloth resistance (so they could keep fighting until the Republic sended more troops) and then get the heck out of there. But Master Ima-Gun-Di dying did lead to the Republic/Jedi sending more troopers/Jedi to retake Ryloth. P.S. This was only the beginning of the "Campaign of Ryloth" Arc in the show.

Ya i thought he was a pretty Good/cool Jedi. We only got one episode with him. (only 22 mins) But he did seemed to be a pretty Honorable person, heck giving up your life, so the Ryloth people could just survive and fight another day, and knowing even if doing so, it still wouldn't guaranteeing them victory. Is something that only good men are willing to do. P.S. Master Ima-Gun-Di (Im-going-to-die) LOL

To start off i will say this "The clones were Good men who were made and used to do terrible things". The Clone troopers in the show and movies. Were actually GOOD men who were loyal comrades and friends to the Jedi. They fight along side the Jedi for 3 long years which leaded to the Jedi trusting in them. It is explained in the show How/why the clones turn on the Jedi during ROTS (Ep 3) so fast.
Also the clone are still individuals, even though they share the same face. (there more like twins, they share the same face but are not exactly the same person) also they have small differences between each clone (which is more like each one has there own personality, which does varie from clone to clone, but they do still act similar to one another) Because the kaminoans (the long neck aliens who make the clones) had the lack of Jango Fett DNA, (after he died) which caused them to keep stretching out his genes. So the clone batches after AOTC, (Ep 2) started having small differences between each clone. Which TCW goes more into and shows how the clones are actually people, who were forced to kill and dye in a war they were made to fight in. Oh and the clones in TCW do have different tattoos and hairstyles, (which makes them feel more like a individual). You can also see one clone in Ep 3 with a different hairstyle for a couple of seconds as well.

Isaiah Rivero oh okay cuz I was always confused about the clones and how they differ from each other!! thanks for clearing that up!

No problem man LOL ya theirs a lot of things that people get confused about when it come to SW. Also about the different colors on the clone armor, it's symbolizes which legion the clone troopers are under. Like in Ep 3 Anakin goes into the Jedi Temple with clones wearing blue stripes armor which was the 501st legion. Were Obi Wans clones had yellow stripe armor which is the 212th legion. Just like Master Ima-Gun-Di clones had brown color armor.

I think reinforcements were cut thin at this point in the war. The show conveyed it perfectly in that there were so many battles and so much losses on both sides

They couldn’t get reinforcements through due to a separatist blockade around the entire planet Ryloth
