- Finishing up the renos on the side door of the cabin Installing A new counter top and putting out some rabbit snares to catch a meal of Newfoundland Rabbits
I used to snare rabbits 60 years ago so my mother could make rabbi pie. What I wouldn't give to have one of them now.
Lol thanks
Another great video! It seems that for quite some time now, I watch easily as much RUclips as TV. I think it’s time that the entertainment industry start to recognize how entertaining RUclips is and have a separate award category for it. If there was, I believe you’d be a shining star Bob!
May you live long and well and keep making RUclips videos! ☮️💕
Yes indeed
I haven't watched TV in many years. It's mostly mind numbing blather.
@@andrewrolfe4334 isn’t that the truth! 🤣
The new intro is nice. Thanks for sharing the ground moose recipe with us, it looked simple and delicious! Can't wait to see baked rabbit in the next episode.
Thanks
Another great trip in the Newfoundland outdoors and remote camp visit 👍

Thanks
My dad and uncle used to catch hundreds of rabbits down Benton pond back in the 60/70s and sell them to the restaurants $5 a pair. They used picture cord wire, later as I learned to snare rabbits I tried other wires but always seem to go back to the picture cord wire. They always seem to run before a storm and not so much when it’s snowing, we just had a storm here in NB 8” over night, stopped now so they should run tonight, I’m going to set some snares tomorrow. Looks like you had a great time at the cabin, I enjoyed watching 👍🏻.
Thanks

You are just a well prepared organized fella that knows how to do stuff. If that was my cabin I'd be prepping it with non perishable foods, freeze dried ,ammunition etc if you ever need it for survival in case of emergency situations.

Thanks you too
Thanks for the instructions on snaring rabbit ,i have never done but will now.Love your videos and your beautiful cabin.Thank for sharing Bob and stay safe.
Thanks good luck
Dandy video! Job to beat a boil up on the snare-line, makes me homesick! Keep up the great content. The cabin is looking great as well.
Try the stick on toe warmers on your GoPro to keep your battery warm and give you extended batt life in cold temps. Not sure if there’s a spot you could stick one on? We use em on our cell phones when it’s cold (-30’s) in Northern Ontario, works like a charm!
Nice I'll try that thanks
Lots of rabbits up here in Labrador this year. Caught over 20 in a week.
Wow love to visit
Cabin is coming along great and looking more comfortable. Lot of work but I’m sure you look forward to it. Another relaxing video. Thanks- from Hells Canyon, Frank.

That candied salmon is really good! Had it on a Quetico trip last summer.
Yes indeed
Your content is the best. Very enjoyable.
Thanks
Good video. Thanks for sharing. I love to eat rabbit. My dad raised tame rabbit when I was growing up. He sold them dressed for $5. Today I pay $20 for a much smaller dressed rabbit. Enjoyed watching you set your snares.
Thanks
Great video , thanks for sharing
You're welcome
Your videos are so addictive. 😁 Watched all day yesterday. You are doing what a lot of people dream of. Thank you FYI. Not a doctor but the fake butter you guys are using is supposedly an artery blocker. Real butter is better option.
Yes I hear
Enjoyed! It is just beautiful and peaceful ‼️
Thank you
Bummer, I wanted to see your stew. 😂
Fun video

Glad to see you got some oh so beautiful winter finally. Out here in southern Quebec it’s been cloudy non stop for weeks, when we get snow, we get freezing rain…..terrible year. El Niño has messed us up something awful.

Another great cabin video!
The new opening is nice BUT your missing the most important and iconic part.........You have to add back in your buddy who, not only has one of the many Newfoundland accents, but also delivers the iconic setup for your show - "If you ever comes up here Bob". ....It almost makes it like he is delivering the beginning of the show on where is Bob and what's he going to show us today.
Next time!
Great video sir! We enjoyed it all.
Thank you
I really enjoy your videos. I got a bit jealous of the snowmobiling as have no trails open in northern Wisconsin. Very unusual winter for sure
Yes indeed
Boys there's not many rabbits in my area here in nova Scotia. The coyotes and other predators have them pretty much gone. I been craving a feed of rabbit though. Thanks for sharing another great video Bob.

Are you planning to do something with the inside roof?

Absolutely loving your videos. I sure miss the cabin life I use to enjoy before I left home. Every time I watch your videos, it sorta makes me feel like I am home again. I heard you say you have a Hero 10, do you mind sharing what settings you use? I purchased one a while back and still trying to dial it in. Your videos look awesome.
Thanks
I use it on all auto
I’ve been to Newfoundland, and this looks like western NL. Love the low mountains in the background. Where exactly is this cabin?
Deer lake
You should have put a little of that cheese on the Moose meat , Vaselines and Cotton balls work great for fire starters, I use to raise rabbits and kill and eat so good, I miss them,
Thanks
Great show today. You missed your calling you should of been a cook😊

Hi Bob: Why aren't you using locally tied snowshoes? Do you like the ones you were using better? Their used to be a guy in Cormack who tied shoes. I think his last name was Parsons.
I got a couple pair of them too I just wanted to try these modern ones every one is talking about
