I want to make this clear: I don't have this downloaded on my PC. The model is already available on huggingface, it's the demo and all I did was use the demo. I've seen some people having an issue trying to clear up me doing this -- even if its to show you that when compared with the SAME works, it's going to face off against the real thing lol
The fact AI bros made this for the sole purpose of deceiving and scamming people just shows how malicious that community really is.
I think if anything, this will help people become more aware of fake vs real speed draws. This will likely backfire on those prompt artists 😂

A lot of people are concerned that AI is going to get more sophisticated to the point of being able to convincingly do these things. But, here's the tea, it's not, actually. Short of making a REAL artificial intelligence, which AI is not--it's just pattern recognition, this is pretty much it. It's not a linear upwards trajectory, there's a limited amount of data to train AI on and we've already exhausted it, believe it or not. The AI cannot 'think' or 'have thoughts'. This is the maximum amount of 'reasoning' and 'decision' it can manifest. Like, period. The only way to make something that could do more would be to start over with an entirely different model for intelligence.
@JamesLacroixx I have been saying this so long, it can't get "better" forever, lol. It's not real ai, it doesn't know context. We don't have infinite data and all the new data is droves of ai infused shit with it.

That's not even a proof, katliente already made a video of someone using/tracing AI and they showed their layers as "proof". It looked legit, but the speedpaint didn't however
@@retrojoyz yeah, I've seen the video. People can hide layers, lol. A lot of artists do it. The only way to really show the skill is to draw live

I don't think people are worried about it copying speedpaints. I think they're worried about it taking ai images and making fake speedpaints so you can pretend you made the ai paint.
I make 3d speed models, and.... I think those will be harder to immitate.
That's what I mean, people have a lot of worries. In my previous video I showed how ugly they are, even if they make a speedpaint I don't think many people who know art will believe them, lol.
The thing that worries me is regular artist can and will notice the signs it’s ai art, but even them most people can easily believe it’s real art. Like if I showed a friend a speed paint of mine vs an ai art they would probably think both were made by an artist.
Well, that's why we artist gotta start teaching others how to spot it.
I would not be worried that much. AI is dumb and doesn't work that great. It moves too much, changes, hands look weird and is doesn't know the correct stages. No offense to people who draw like that, but I know you do NOT have the backgrounds teleporting without redrawing it. AI art is really easy to point out! So.. I wouldn't worry as much because AI speedpaints are very wonky.

I can't even believe aibros thought this was going to be a hit and somehow going to manifest their "art" skills somehow that's going to be believable to anyone who wants their images, lol. I'm not worried but I know this kinda has people freaking out.

Kinda like someone taking martial arts class and not understanding that a (proper) one is about improving one's character and other attributes rather than outpunching the opponent. Or more like they think they instantly get to dancing over the felled opponent.
