I've created an account on both Tapas and Webtoons to start reading more Webcomics and it's wonderful how youtube is suggesting me some webcomic youtubers :D
The algorithm of youtube has really improved a lot lately, been seeing lots of new up and coming creators and its exciting to see. Thanks for stumbling upon my video and checking out mmy work! :D
I have a manga im working on and im at the chapter 4 at works, i set around 2 weeks per chapter and i cant say its becoming a hit since my fundamentals are mid at best. But this is a passion project im doing for myself and Im happy that most friends and followers of mine are always asking when is the next chapter. It keeps me going on this path and I don't mind if its not a huge hit. Im having some set backs cuz of personal stuffs but I wont stop cuz I am confident with my writing and my art will improve thru time. I would love to see this manga of yours once it comes out. I might even do a RUclips channel showing my process. Good luck to us and our dreams. 🐢

Congrats! Your work is beautiful! I remember starting a comic in 2020 in hopes of success. When I didn’t get it immediately, I sunk into despair and went to a mental hell. Eventually, I found myself being my number one fan and wanting to do this right! Hopefully I can keep that side of me!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoy it and im flattered ^^ And that is such a good mindset to have. And if you really enjoy what you made yourself, then theres a bigger chance others might think the same! I try to apply this mindset to my work as well. Im sure you can keep that side of you!
The most important thing is that you took action to pursue something you were passionate about. And even though it was more difficult than you may have thought it'd be, you still learned quite a lot from the experience, and you will likely be able to make many great things in the future because of it. I am excited to give a read to your new comic. It looks like you've really levelled up in terms of art style and page composition.

I've realized that I underestimated the requirements of making comics and illustrations. We draw not only because we're inspired but also because we have to learn the basics and fundamentals of creating them, especially art style. What makes your comic worth reading and what elements can catch people's attention to your comic? That's what will make your comic or illustration better. I've realized these things when I decided to study the basics to improve my skills, so don't be shy or hesitant to go to art school or learn every day. Let's keep going, artists! 💪
