A good road network is crucial for a country’s economic development as it connects cities and town and ensure smooth travel for commuters, private vehicles, and logistic solutions. In addition, good roads provide access to employment, education, health, and social services hence becoming a crucial tool in fighting against Poverty. Roads also open up more areas including remote areas for economic and social development. Because of all these reasons a good road infrastructure is very important for the economic development of all public assets. Governments in the East African region also know this fact and have made big steps in improving road infrastructure in their respective countries.

if we are considering quality and mantainance of roads yes rwanda roads are best and better by far other roads in east africa .very hard to find potholes damaged roads and nearly every part of country is nearly covered with this quality roads not only in cities like in kenya and tanzania,uganda etc

Are they taxing more and more to line the pockets of the leaders of Kenya or are they taxing more and more to develop Kenyan infrastructure. I don't mind paying taxes as long as the cities are kept in shape with my taxes. Nigeria taxes curruptly, exorbitantly and ridiculously because the leaders enriches themselves with your tax shillings. And it doesn't help that public official accountability is almost non existent

Roads they're the best when I was in 2 countries I thought roads in Rwanda are normal but I was more disappointed to see how roads are and treated

I love traveling but dirty countries with unpaved roads turns me off. There's one specific country I wouldn't want to visit on the list because of the level of unpaved roads and driving disorderlyness. However, I wouldn't mention
Nigeria isn't on the list. No surprise here. Interstate road network in Nigeria are in such a dilapidated condition that I almost shed tears knowing that those were the roads on which food are transported interstate. They're so bad that you couldn't travel from one state to another without seeing a stranded struck on the road because of very horrible road conditions.
Some of them are not paved. Traveling interstate will take you about twice the time. It was the biggest shock yet about the state of the Nigerian infrastructure. I have learnt to pay a driver to transport my car to whatever state I'm traveling, then fly over to meet them at my destination
This is not true number one should be Kenya two Tanzania and then Rwanda, I didnt see the quality of the road in Rwanda cause Kenya having the old and best roads in east Africa.

Come to Rwanda you'll shocked as I came to Kenya I was shocked thought you're better in all aspects but roads were not giving and the maintenance is very low like you never care but the building are very beautiful and tall although the dirtness is still a huge problem
My point is Rwanda is a small country so the roads in terms of kilometres are very small compared to Kenya.... They're like the roads in Mombasa only.. Kenya has very beautiful highways across the country
