I taught music in Thailand and China, and it was a blast. The kids over there are SUPER humble. I was supposed to go back and I had my money saved up and everything. But then WHAM, the 2020 situation happened and the borders closed up here and I felt like I was robbed of those years. And then afterwards, I had to take care of life here in the USA. So, I had a rough time going back, but I planned to eventually.
I’m so happy to hear you were able to experience living abroad and even more working with the kids 🤗 it’s never too late. 2020 hit everyone like a ton of bricks but we definitely have some underdog triumph stories and I hope one day you can get back to whatever it is that drives you and makes you happy. For me… that’s travel.

Loved the candy bags for Vday. I always liked getting those in school. You look & seem so relaxed & happy in your videos since moving to Thailand. I noticed more in this video when you talked about your kids (students) just want you to show up& teach them. Its the feeling of being appreciated & know the kids really love you. Great video ❤
For me, working with children is a privilege. I enjoyed every moment. I remember some very influential teachers from my childhood, so I only hope I made a good enough impression on my kids that they can carry with them into adulthood.

❤ Bria you said you were planning on coming back to the States would you teach in the states or are you going to continue teaching abroad.
I would love to teach in the states but there are different laws and circumstances to take into consideration. I may try substitute teaching for elementary students.
Hi! How long is the school day? Summers off? Keep up the good work!
The school work day is from around 7am-4pm, and summers are from mid March to May

My students give me nothing to complain about. They are kids, and act as such. I have a lot of patience for children. Biggest issue is their attachment to the phones but I can also relate to that.

Great! Literally somebody grandma is there as chef so the food hits. Much healthier and more variety. The children are not fed like they are in prison,
