@@reto It isn't, and not needed at all, cause the classic settings are super optimized and lite anyway, and also that TAA AA mode that goes with the Remastered + FSR is very bad blurry looking. 1080p with low graphics and high textures with FXAA are the best settings for BDO with 5600G. The game is just amazingly good optimized and lite, takes only 1gb VRAM and 4-5GB of RAM LOL it's even funny how good it runs.

I believe hardware info displays this in a way that can be confusing. 5X00G series are PCIe 3 only, what hwi shows there is the potential platform link speed on the left and the actual link speed on the right.
I mean PCIe 3.0 16X is more than enough even for RTX3080 performance. And with modern games becoming less dependent to the CPU, with DX12, Vulkan as well as future direct Storage, the bandwidth is really a non issue, since the GPU will work more and more in isolation of the CPU, bandwidth will pretty much be freed up. The only concern is if GPUs start to use less PCIe lanes like the 6600XT (which still is pretty okay on a PCIe 3.0 8x interface) as well as PCIe 4X on lower tier cards. But I think this has to do primarily that AMD want to save money on having the same architecture between laptops and desktops.

GT 1030 and Vega 7 (5600G) are about the same. If your GT 1030 is still working you can get a different CPU like intel i5-12400f or Ryzen 5 5600, which will be slighlty better when you upgrade your GPU later.
