This video shows you how to install a new control arm bushing on your 2003-2021 Chevrolet Express. Rubber bushings help smooth out a ride, but are susceptible to wear or drying out and crumbling over time. This bushing is replaceable separate from the control arm, and you can replace it yourself.

I like to install the upper ball joint, place a jack under the lower control arm, raise vehicle so weight is bearing(mimics resting ride height for control arm), THEN I tighten upper control arm bolts.

Excellent job I have to do the same to my truck I can hear a noise. I replaced the struts but still , i think it's going to be the bushings

Don't use a wire tie. It will break. Proper way is to get the busted bolt out and replace the bolt.
