Small misplay, but keep in mind that while poseidra effect to soul charge your field accepts any discard, your mermail kings effect to search for a spell requires that discard to be a WATER monster, so you could not have discarded the trap there 😅👍
A cool interaction you can do is revive the abyssgaios with the equip spell and then use levirtue dragon’s second effect to give it a material so that it has its floodgate effect and the ability to quick effect dark ruler. It can come up in hands where you don’t have to normal summon your prince and have an extra level 4 you can normal summon for your second bahamut / toad instead of needing the equip spell. Glad to see someone else on fishborg harpooner, I love that card and think it’s so underrated! It’s also not a brick in the hand, it’s a way to special something out if our normal summon gets stopped.
@@kammerer396 this is super clutch vs tenpai as gaios is protected against target, maybe even against destruction via aegirine synchro, and makes the tenpai synchros unable to declare attacks to proc their effects 🤣

Armor shark summons a pike from grave after you revive it with poseidra, allowing you to use your triana on a dragoons and make a second bahamut Toad without gunde. abbyslacia is good because you can discard a card as soon as possible on their turn, activating mermail king and allowing you slap mizuchi on a monster before they can even play anything. ps I know it's not worth it but it's really funny and easy to hand rip 4. moulinglacia, summon abyssleed off rhine, then synchro into trish when it comes up. hand rip 4 with 2 toads is just ridiculous.
I have been playing g a ghoti package, it has a line if you get fuwalos, and stronger endboard. 1 (shif, zep, psiics, snopios and lapis dragon but it is optional) 1 (arianpos, askaan, deep, and whale if you have the space)
@@tigershark927 Bait as best as possible and chain block where applicable. It wasn't really an issue for this specific local tournament, but I would absolutely optimize it with hand traps and a better Side Deck for any higher tier event.

Hand rip 4 with 2 toads enough to stop opponents turn. If you have follow-up (which you probably will), then you just kill them on the next turn.
