Body loathing has been part of my life since I can remember (age 5). Realized as an adult that when my external world goes wrong, my urge is to hate & punish it.
I love your videos, they are so rich and minister to my heart, body and soul, sometimes confirming things I had learned through experience and relationship to Yeshua! Incarnate Love that casts out fear and shame from our bodies mhmm, yes! Let the lies I believed about my body burn in His love and may I be set free, thank you Lord 🙏❤️🔥🌹⛲🕊️🩸☦️🥰
So often Christians are called upon to oppose the conventions of our societies. It is a singularly difficult task given the pounding influences of culture on body image. It takes a special courage to rise above social standards and unite your entire body and soul to Christ. I find taking time every day to put social media of all types away for a while and focus solely on the word of God. It helps.
this is important for everyone to know/hear I'm a Queer Christian and I have no shame I'm not afraid to leave this here it'll upset the wrong people and it will make proud the right people all of us were created by Love to be Loved that is all
It doesnt help with your supposed god's piss poor, negligent design of them, which is a definite fact. No good reason to create, among several other issues, a huge disparity in beauty and physical attractiveness among human bodies. Imagine intentionally making someone horrifically ugly and expecting them to just deal with it and shame them if they try to do something to change it.
God didn't create anyone ugly. He made humans perfect, but the human race chose to reject God, and become its god. We now live in a fallen state where genetics and all kinds of diseases, mutations, and disorders, affect our bodies. Humans wanted that. There would be no disparity in outer beauty if we stayed one with the ultimate source of the beauty that is God. Now we got what we got, some are generically pretty, and some are not. We still have the same choice to make when it comes to inner beauty, the beauty of our soul, because: a) it is one thing to be physically not generically pretty, but it is another thing to radiate ugliness from our hearts. The second one is the ugliest thing in the world. b) it is eternal, our bodies will rot anyway regardless of how symmetrical or not they are now c)that will decide whether will we get new bodies on Jesus Christ's return or will our bodies look like ugliness you never saw on Earth.
Despair is easy. Hope is hard. And brother, you gotta stay hard

“Lovable” Who are you quoting here? Yourself? Where is that word getting thrown around?
5:10 😂
In this video I only agree with the accepting of our body as a natural gift from God. Combining the suffering and all that mess, for sure not.

Nothing god does is piss poor. God bless.
God doesn't see His creations as ugly. People are the ones who judged them that way. God gazes on each of His children with love.
