- Rick Springfield amazingly performs the Badfinger hit, "Baby Blue" at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, WI on Wednesday, March 16, 2016! The song was written by Pete Hamm. He first talks about Todd Rundgren.

Been a huge fan of Todd since the early 70s but have never seen him live until last month 5/13/19 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. We had a fantastic time. Todd is an absolute musical genius and his bandmates incredibly talented. What a show !! Thank you Todd.

Very interesting to see RIck at his age and at this point in rock history. He was a part of that golden time of real musical talent long gone by now, His insights and interpretation of the song brings reflection of his presence and knowledge of rock in that era and brings to me a sense of yearning for the past. Nice to still have him around.

I'm so glad to see that Rick is still rocking and looking good, although it seems like his audience here already had one too many hits on the doobie. "Baby Blue" is one of my all time favorites, but this version suffers in the translation.

Meh. Never was a big Rick Springfield fan and often thought his talent level was exaggerated. He obviously has some talent otherwise he wouldn't still be having people pay to see him perform but I think he was simply born with good looks and has ridden that for all it's worth.
