tried this many many times and in multiple locations and everytime beavers would just stuff what ever they were carrying in the trap (my guess just repairing the dam) not that they were intentionaly setting the trap off but anyway just dosnt work for me
what animals did you displace by destroying the habitat where you live? Someone had to destroy something in order to build your house, apartment or whatever you live in. Oh and by the way this person is not taking away the habitat by trapping unlike your house, Animals can move right back in. Unlike your house or apartment.
This video help a lot for my beaver trapping skills!! Keep up the good videos
Great to hear, how are your skills 6 years later?
safety locks without safety gripper are still dangerous. The LDL traps safety locks can easily slide off while adding tension to the trap to set..
This is true, you still have to pay attention to what you are doing.
50 years in NY it was illegal to set on or near a beaver dam??
Are you asking or telling? In GA it is legal
tried this many many times and in multiple locations and everytime beavers would just stuff what ever they were carrying in the trap (my guess just repairing the dam) not that they were intentionaly setting the trap off but anyway just dosnt work for me
Now that it is 6 years later, have you figured out any tricks to stop this from happening?
Nice set I'd just wire trap on a better hold . I've seen the beavers thrash around a bit
Thanks

You have to keep numbers in check or they will starve
unless you own the land or forest that they are flooding.
