Wheel Jack looks Awesome
Wheeljack looks surprisingly great in robot mode despite the massive legs and kibble. I think it's that the head and chest sculpt that are so spot-on that they sell the whole thing. It probably helps that his legs in the cartoon were never quite Bumblebee levels of "hood shoes" anyway. I bet if you just add a bit of extra paint to his legs, a green stripe and some grey to bring out the toe details, it would really make the mold sing even more.

These origins figures are amazing. It kills me that I haven't been able to pick any of them up yet. I've just had to many things on my plate for way to long to be able to.

Now we just need an Origin Soundwave whose legs telescope out into a long lamp pole and arms compact down like a Siege tetrajet seeker at teh top end, together with a flying saucer Laserbeak!
Actually, the siege Soundwave can do that, providing you have the original one and the siege packaging.

@@matthewelliott7294 He can T pose, usure, but the arms don't compact nor the legs extend. That's not the same thing as properly forming lamppost mode, though.

I'm still amazed they got this to work on a mainline budget. Like the other Origins figures I'm displaying him in alt mode, and I wish I'd had your JTI getting him there because I had a time with him.

Honestly I really like the figure, probably even my favorite wheeljack so far, it’s g1 but it’s got an interesting silhouette and I like to think of the back pack as a literal backpack for him to store all his tools and stuff
My God! I was 8 y/o in 1986, and the only survivors from childhood was my G1 Soundwave and Grimlock. Being reminded that Transformers is 40 now, really makes me feel my age. 46, but I FEEL like I'm still that 8 y/o, except now I have a whole ROOM of Transformers, from MP, Voyager class and 3rd party mostly. 😂😂

@@fennekin1750 A few here and there, but for the most part, voyagers and up. Although I really like my little core class SS Mohawk. He's a lot of fun. And I'm certainly more open to deluxe and stuff with some of the better offerings they have now.

This is a third figure of the G1 origin figure for the Legacy Collection.
That goes without saying.
Funny thing is, thanks to all the 5mm ports he has, plus a spare adapter from the 3P Burning Megatron add on, I was able to place OR Bumblebee, his jetpack and all four weapons (gave OR Wheeljack SS Jazz's weapon, because I am afraid to transform him anymore - and Bumblebee has Brawn's due a complex set of weapon swapping) onto OR Wheeljack.
I was so annoyed when I saw someone complaining that Bee couldn't go in there without being altered slightly, and I thought that was so dumb of that person 😂

@@RemixOfTheVoidWhat’s hard to follow? This guy has a bunch of shell-former compromises in his bot mode, just so he can accommodate Bee in the alt mode…….but then it doesn’t quite fit. Not a dealbreaker for most of us, but still a bit of a design fail. Would have been a better figure overall if they just skipped that part.
@jadesutton9488 Bro, the fact they managed to even make this figure at all is awesome. Like, for years, I wondered if they ever would, and they did. What I'm saying is that some people don't know how to he grateful. Sure, the Bumblebee thing wasn't even necessary, but it's cool they added it. And I don't know what makes you think it doesn't quite fit, because that's clearly not the case. Also, you don't seem to understand the concept of shellforming. Shellforming is what Earthrise Arcee is, a bot whose entire body is just underneath the car, and has no actual body parts that get incorporated into the altmode. Like, even SS G1 Scourge has body parts that go into the altmode. And this Wheeljack has MOST of his body parts incorporated into the altmode, thus meaning that he is not, in fact, a shellformer. So clearly, you need to reevaluate your definition of what a shellformer is. Even if you disagree with me about the Bumblebee thing, you're DEAD WRONG about your shellforming thing.
Finally got my hands one this one today. I’ve been looking forward to it and it’s better than I thought it would be. Probably one of my all-time favorite alt modes. Quite a breath of fresh air after combining the Trainbots. This one is a FUN toy! Almost totally forgot about fun.
Too bad you didn’t have Seige Thundercracker and Skywarp in their tetrajet modes to recreate that chase they had with Jack and Bee.
I know we didnt see em on the show, but given concept art figures is a thing, id be cool with a retool of Origins Jazz into a concept Origins Prowl and Bluestreak.
This Wheeljack looks awesome! I really want him! Its so cool that Origins Bumblebee can fit (be stored) inside his altmode! I don't even have Origins Bee, but its still cool! Its great that Wheeljack finally got his proper shoulder rocket/blaster!

It’s cool to see Origins and BBM Wheeljack have normal hands, unlike Siege, Earthrise, and ROTB, where the hands are molded onto a vehicle part.

Wheeljack. Like 40 years. I'm disappointed no wheels. They gave us wheels for Sunstreaker Buzzworthy. I like the figure. I hope we get more of this mold in different colors. The msrp is expensive $34.99 usd.

If Target hadn't canceled the Buzzworthy line, we'd have had a Studio Series G1 Hound as a separate release by now.
God I would cry if they reissued tetrajet skywarp under the origin banner. Only one I'm missing 😮💨
Soundwave was a lamppost, fyi. And, we _did_ get those in Siege, but those were more-so references/homages, than proper "Origins" style figures.

Have you bought the G1 Cartoon Accurate version of Wheeljack earth mode in the Legacy 5-pack.
People who complain about this Wheeljack should try playing with the original, or a repro of his G1 toy.
I have him, all things considered I like him. My major complaint is with the "blast shield". It's a waste of plastic and a waste of budget. It should have been put to use in better ways, like actually having the windows be transclearent all the way instead of partially painted.
G1 Jack was weird and janky even by G1 standards. It did have a certain charm to it though. I wasn’t planning on buying this one but I saw it at Target’s 30% off sale and I’m glad. I like him but he has enough issues that I might have been disappointed if I paid full price
(And those issues are largely unavoidable so it’s not criticism just a statement)

The blast shield in my opinion was the biggest waste of plastic and budget. Should have been used elsewhere 100%

and I KNOW there's an STL out there, of the blast sheild, with the baseformers they did that one year's, connection part, as an adaptor. I know you can buy all kinds of different roadway pieces with those connectors on them. Think they just got the plain pieces from Airwave, and dupicated them, ran off a bunch, and sellem in like a 10 pack. Ya know, like Hasbro should have done. Since they only halfassed committed to that gimmick, I guess it's a no go on that ever happening. And that really sucks too. I think basformers had far more potential than the weaponizer gimmick, that they refuse to let die. Anyone agree with me? If I had more options, I'd have a MASSIVE base in my dioramas. The way I see it, we don't really sit around playing with our toys, most of us anyways, but we DO spend time posing them, and making scenes. I know I don't speak for everyone on that, but I've got to imagine I'm not the only one, who'll make sets, and scenes for my figures. So many times, I do that, and once my buddy's and family get to check it out, I tear it down, and make another. A million times, I'm like "Why don't I photograph these, and upload them to instagram" and still never do it lol
I wish they had given an option to remove the back pack in his robot mode. It really makes him look too fat, but I still purchased him despite that.
Hes not fat! Hes buff! And, his backpack is more-so, well, a backpack. Y'know, hes gonna need a backpack to store all his gadgets, tools, equipment, & gizmos. Hes a esteemed and accomplished inventor, after all.😆

Welp now that you got all the "Transformers Origin" Autobots! Now you need to get the "Transformers: Origin" Decepticons with Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Soundwave & Laserbeak in their weird alien alt. modes seen in the first episode of "The Transformers".

this Wheeljack figure is good and all but not that good at the same time the head is not very well hidden although this version is used in the crossover series with Beast Wars in the Kingdom animated series I would definitely go for Prime Universe Transformers Prime series Wheeljack for a better legacy figure than Kingdom Wheeljack

I just love that all 3 Origin figures (Jazz, Bumblebee and WheelJack) appear to be hovering thanks to the way their alt-modes have the sculpted parts that give that illusion. I wonder how these figures would had impacted us in the 80s

I wish Jazz and Bumblebee were easier to get. I like those and this one. The alt modes were always cool looking in that first episode. Why have a road with one toy? Too bad he's not big enough for Bumblebee to fit in the back.

So, his arms make up the front bumper, the backpack is only the roof, and the bottom, is his chest. The rest of the entire vehicle, is his calves.... Jesus man! That is probably the most engineering kung fu, on a mainline figure EVER! If anyone has an issue, and starts bitching about what they were able to accomplish with this guy, GO! I don't know, for the price point they should have learned from 52 Toys how to make a box turn into something else with articulation.
This looks like the Shuttle from Star Trek TNG, that they would use to either go from ship to ship or to planet surfaces. I don't really care for these figures.
I like the figure be they honestly need to stop use transclearent plastic and toys
