I stumbled across your podcast and short videos. I was very encouraged and comforted during a dark season in my life where my child has been diagnosed with cancer. I felt like I didn't want to talk to God and did not want to connect with other Christians and be told the truths that I have known for years. This reminds me when I wen to jail. I did something that I shouldn’t do, I had this peace in my heart that surpasses all understanding. (I could’ve been screaming, crying n say things to get me mad but I kept putting everything in Gods hand & start speaking in tongue n my heart fell so much joy, and peace. Super good to know that God is in control. I praise Jesus for hes goodness and grace when I went in n got out. My Jesus is sooo good. I put my confidence in Jesus. Super good to me, favored me n still is.
This brought me joy I put confidence in situation currently I going through financial hardship and career difficulties but I have to trust God and know to only put my confidence in him during this time

I believe it's important to stay firmly rooted in the WORD and what it says about us as opposed to what the WORLD says about us. God's view of us and his grace should be all the confidence we need and more, Amen praise be to the Lord 🙏 Psalm 139:14
I really liked the section on fnding our confidence in our social life. In this day and age of social media it's very easy to do this and feel validated by people from the likes, comments and followers however it never satisfies. We will never find complete confidence in these things only momentarily. Only God's truths about us can give us the conifdence we need.
I'm struggling being a slave to my relationships. I keep looking for confidence in their love, not God's. That is my old self. No more. Thank you so much for this reminder today, I really really needed this message today. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. This was TOO GOOD. In fact I've been trying to come out as a Christian in my relationships after being lukewarm/deceived, the last year with them, so they can see the new person that I am and how Jesus has begun a work in me; I mentioned to my friend/brother how much I loved your podcast and he is very chill, he said that we should listen sometime. This is a friend who is in the world, and all of its department, i know he'll hop on anything for fun BUT pray so that this happens, so that it is an edifying moment in his life. So that he may accept Christ. Thank you guys truly.

Hello, would you guys be able to talk about the purpose of fasting and how to fast? I feel that when I have fasted (more than a year ago) I went into the fasting to see what God would do, rather than with a purpose? It felt as if I was trying to aquire favor from God and I believe I missed the purpose of it; but I know Jesus did not fast for selfish ambitions, so I need help to see why He fasted and why it is necessary.
