    Surfing 58 years now, foiling is just amazing, better than everything that came before it.

      I couldn't agree more. I've surfed for 25 years and stopped surfing once I found foiling. Its unreal!

    I still haven't seen anyone getting barrels yet , but when it's a bit fat I'm out there on the foil. definitely one of the purest feelings I've ever felt. Bennet Brothers are the smoothest out there, Lovin the seamless turns.

      Thanks for the kind words and I agree, there’s nothing quite like the feeling. Checkout Matahi and the Tahitian guys. They’ve been getting barreled out at Chopes for a couple of years now. They are nuts!

    Too funny looking at all the poor saps on surfboards sitting there watching you carve circles around them and you're obviously having the most fun out there. Love to see what you could do at a speedy roller like Impossibles in Bali.

      Haha yeh it’s pretty classic. I’ve got a good one to post from Temples at Ulus. Had to chip in on a small right up against the cliff and pump out to get on a set. Was holding on for dear life!

    Absolutely incredible - other worldly. I do wonder how chaotic it would be if all those surfers in the video were instead also using foils and, especially, if most of them were nowhere near as skilled as the bloke in this video and, even more, on a busy day.

    • @misterbennetts
      @misterbennetts  Год назад +1

      Thanks! The thing is, if all those other people were riding foils, they wouldn’t be sitting where they are sitting. It’s a completely different mindset and way of riding. The foil opens up a whole new world of where you can ride!

    Looks like so much fun! Every day is 'Legs' day on a foil board. 😄 Say G'day to Ibis for us when you talk to him next. PS, have a classic photo of you DJ'ing at our engagement paety at Tugun in 2006. Probably one of your first paid gigs.🤣 From memory I think Brenno and Jezza Scadden are in it too. Time flies hey! I 🤙

      Haha yeh mate. Legs are stronger than anyone’s for sure. I should enter some squatting competitions 🤣 Yeh classic, that was a funny night, I remember that pretty vividly actually. Man that woulda been one of my first paid gigs for sure. I think I started DJing in clubs late 2005. Can’t believe I’m still doing it nearly 20 years later. Hope you’re well mate!

    Stay away from spots that are already crowded. There are plenty of other spots for this sport. This kook was way too close to others with a much more dangerous piece of equipment.

    • @misterbennetts
      @misterbennetts  Год назад +6

      Thanks for your feedback Jason. This spot is actually a better spot for foiling than surfing. I almost got hit by 2 people learning to surf on 9 foot longboards this day also… I’m the last person you need to worry about 🙃
