🎉🎉THIS IS GOING TO BE FUN 😁. ❤IT THANKS MOPAR. GEN 2 HAS SENT ME OVER TO SPY. GOOD LUCK GUYS FROM TEAM GEN 2 AND GOD BLESS ALL. OYEAH NOW I'M ON MY WAY TO TOM'S ?
I never really cared for these Dodge pickups, but guess I have begun to see the simple versatility of these pickups, a lot you can do with them and they seem to be spacious also. This transform is going to be fun to watch, keep us updated
That’s gotta be a fun thing to work side by side with your partner. It’s great your both in on it. Tommy and Allison sent me to watch you guys. Anyone they say is great has to be pretty cool.
@@TorqueandTungsten I work overnights so on my breaks I’m always looking for something fun to watch or keep me busy and I think I found another channel to watch. I like the building channels kinda thing.
Good luck. I was wondering how the other builders were doing. Those motors are bigger than I thought. I would have went with the D series trucks myself. I might have to drive up from Indiana to watch this race.
Had to subscribe, I believe in the old body new organ ideas. Just to have something you can jump in and will start with no issues for another 100,000 miles at least. I’ll admit I came from Gen2 as well but I love the build. Can’t wait to see it finished.
@TorqueandTungsten congratulations. I've been off and on RUclips since 2016. And I love to watch a good hotrod build. Good luck with the build and competition against the others
@@TorqueandTungsten your channel is about to explode. I seen Bill post a picture last night of you all together. When this began I knew you ladies were a serious threat and would end up collaborating. Congratulations on the win, very proud of you guys. So happy to see these home built hotrods put it on those who had someone else do the work. You guys should come to war in the woods this September and get the full no prep experience. You won’t regret it, it’s insane.
Absolutely, trying to record as much as we can! Challenging to balance building a race ready truck in 9 weeks, running a full time business, working a regular 9-5, managing two social media pages, making / editing RUclips videos, sleeping, eating, etc 🤣
@@TorqueandTungsten you’re preaching to the choir! But you got this. Worse case, record all of the footage and edit and post the vids later down the road.
Great point! That was kind of our thought too, worst case scenario there will be a few weeks in between bigger RUclips updates! But I try to stay current with little updates on instagram!
I still have my Little Red Exprees truck and Warlock that I bought brand new and pretty much kept hidden in a climate controlled storage locker which keep a mint condition 1972 Dodge Demon & a Dart! I drive a decent 72 Dodge Demon on its second engine!
Oh god that’s terribley slow 😂… my ‘91 Dakota with the 318 (non-magnum) consistency ran 15.9 - 16.2 seconds, essentially all stock. Yours is a little heavier, but sounds like that motor was probably quite tired. Looking forward to the end result of yours!
oh Jesus another week straight six days things aren’t a cummins. They will never last for people who actually used trucks for what they’re used for six cylinders can be fast, so can four cylinders. but if you put 1000 horse four-cylinder I get 1000 horse V8 that V-8 engine is gonna last quite a while that little small engine that could wheel give out now people are going to see what all the Ford lovers had to go through when they found out they really didn’t have that V-8 set of kahunas.
I mean your right except for all the straight 6’s that delivered cargo all across the United States for 30 years, or the straight 6’s they put in G.M, Ford for ohh 50 years.
Excited for this build!
Us too, thanks for your support! We are so excited to be working with you guys! 🙌🏼

The Hurricane was definitely bigger than we thought too, but thankfully we ended up with lots of room!
My Dad had one of those old D150's in the 90's. I drove that deal my senior year in high school. Best of luck with the build.
Thank you!
Checking in for Gen 2 as well! These trucks are really cool projects!

Sky view race cars has some chassis parts for it if you hadn’t seen them. 👍
Considering it's a truck engine installed in a 1/2 ton 4wd. Weiggt shouldn't be a issue.

They build fiberglass front clips for this style/year.
That would definitely help get some weight off the nose!

It was so bad haha the engine only had 70k on it but that’s all she had! It’ll be a lotttt quicker when it’s done!
@@TorqueandTungsten maybe I missed it, but what are you putting in for a motor? Built 360 or 440, or something newer?
@JMKGarage is a new twin turbo in line 6 hurricane motor from Dodge and I believe it comes with a 8 speed.
It is a 3.0l inline 6 with compound turbos and a 10 speed transmission.
@@TorqueandTungsten SO or HO? 3.0
