- Welcome back to the Dodge D150 Roadkill build series! Episode 3 is all about turning this rusty farm truck into a race truck. We give the front end some updates, fix some rust, and revamp the interior. 4 weeks until Roadkill Nights!

So I've been watching Gen 2 Garage with Allison and Tommy since they started the channel, which obviously came from watching SRC channel with Billy and Tommy and now since watching the entire series of Road Kill Knights and seeing the interactions between Allison and urself, I've since become a Subscriber to your channel and hope that ur going to continue to make content about what it is you do on a daily basis( obviously if it is about Street Car Builds and street and/or track racing) I obviously see that this is new to you( The Whole RUclips Thing) and if I'm wrong I completely apologize. So it was both Allison and Tommy who suggested in 1 of their previous videos a couple weeks back about subscribing to your RUclips channel. So I figured I'd wait until Road Kill Knights to officially see who you were and then decide weather or not I would subscribe. And it didn't take long at all to know if I was gonna subscribe to ur channel. After seeing how nice n respectable you were towards I'm assuming a friend and opponent on the track I knew it wasn't a hard decision to make and so here I am becoming a new subscriber to "" The Torque n Tungsten Channel"" BTW great name for ur channel. Anyway I really do hope to see more possible builds in the future and hopefully some more racing and winning. Not for nothing but I think it shows tremendous strength, ability, and commitment on your part, and let's not forget about how 6 people were given an opportunity to build their own race car following a few rules in a certain amount of time. And although all 6 contestants made it to the destination. After a day or 2 of test-tune I believe that 2 teams had broken, and I think both teams had transmission issues. Anyway my point is that of the 6 cars and before the actual race had begun their were already down to 4. And of the 4 it is my true belief that the top 2 cars were both Allison and urself. And that's my unbiased opinion. I truly believe that the 2 of you undoubtedly had the cars to beat. I am very upset by the "" Chase is a Race"" call especially when Allison's opponent at the Arm Drop had already been ¾ of a car out on Allison when the starters hands dropped. And then in ur race your opponent had basically ½ of his car in ur lane in front of you(which I'm not sure on this or not but it may have caused you to LIFT to keep from running into the back of him, which would cause you a possible win. I'm just thankful that you were awarded the WIN and most of all that you both were not hurt or harmed in any way, not to mention that I think that, that track should never have been approved for this event considering the 6 teams weren't 💯% familiar with each of their CARS TRUE CAPABILITIES. Meaning racing on such a NARROW TRACK that was only 400' in my eyes is down right dangerous for all parties involved. Like I said NONE of you had TRULY known your RACE CARS TRUE CAPABILITIES, what if the BRAKES had Failed or what if the STEERING Pump or Box had seized or broke, in other words I think that theres to many WHAT IF's and UNKNOWN's especially for a track of time that tracks size and length. I know that if I was given (12weeks) (Sorry I don't remember the actual amount of time that was given to complete the builds) But I'm sure you get the JUST of what I'm saying, no matter how good of a mechanic my shop, team, and myself maybe there are still way to many variables that come into play. I think after a build is complete the vehicle should be tested and tuned repeatedly until everyone in the shop including and most importantly the DRIVER, If the DRIVER gets into the car again and comes back saying its finally were it needs to be. Then h/she should get back into the car and take it for another test drive but this time only adjust the Air Pressure's and see if the car remains balanced and the DRIVER is still in control and the are no significant changes or differences in the car's driving.
Anyway sorry for writing a short little RANT there I just felt that all of you along with the amount of pressure put on you guys, should've at least been given the best surface to race on, without this stupid "" Chase is a Race"" rule. There should've been a TREE not a arm-drop, cars should've been STAGED a lot better, and I'm sorry but a jump is a jump, You JUMP you LOSE, I guess what I'm trying to say is the FINALS SHOULD'VE BEEN ALLISON and URSELF BATTLING IT OUT. Anyway it was fun to watch and like I said earlier I hope you continue to produce content for us to watch. Take care good luck.

I wonder if you could put a Trans brake in the transmission so you can spool those turbo's at the starting line and let it rip to get a good take off out of the hole
