Also u should have kept the substrate in as the substrate holds most of the beneficial bacteria in most tanks so u basically just took out almost all bacteria for them
The bacterias are everywhere, on glass in substrate (a lot of them) in sponge one plants. I just need live starting colony presant in the tank to shorten the cycle
@@ShrimpTimeInt it is NOT in water I'm a researcher and no the bacteria is not found in water only time it is is if u shake off and squeeze filter media or substrate heavily into the water then it finds substrate or filter media to attach to or it dies it cannot survive in the water column
@@thenamesfrog85 we will wait and see the results. I belive that a lot of bacterias stayed in sponges on moss and glass. It's not about the quantity but about keeping live nitri bacterias in the tank.
