Two things... 1. Your arms are looking jacked! Good job! 2. For serotonin I found a great supplement, 5-HTP. You take a capsule at night and it makes you sleep like a baby and helps with compulsive eating. And a bonus 3rd thing, do some research on Magnesium. It has changed my entire outlook. I've noticed that my body is 1.2 pounds up my whole cycle..Afterwards my body will be a lower weight than before my cycle..I don't overeat but it seems like my body holds on to water when I am stressed..So during my period or if I don't get enough sleep my weight will be up a little.

You're right!! It's overeating the carbs that do harm. With me if I go slightly off my routine, my weight starts creeping up. Being a little older I gotta stay consistent or it shows up. Thanks for bringing up water weight cuz I have awful habit of weighing everyday. How often do you weigh yourself?

Hey Ms. DawnElizabeth, you are and look AMAZING, can you help a 52 year young lady? Eating cheese made and keep me fat, i love cheese on everything. No but being real, I suffer from ANXIETY & MILD DEPRESSION and it got really, really bad after the lose of my mother and sister 3 years apart. I turned into a stress eater, was and still in MENOPAUSE and I don't know how are where to start. When I get overwhelmed and start over thinking, worrying ,and when my anxiety is up, I start eating even when I'm not hungry. I watched many of your videos and I thought, your a strong young lady.
My anxiety and depression plays a major role in mine. I’m trying to get better with this.

thank you so much for this! i was beating myself up really bad after a week (LOL) of emotional eating and alcohol binging and then my period came and i gained like 7 lbs but thank you for being transparent sis. i feel better and motivated to get back on track.

I love this! This is the first video of yours I have seen. I lost 16lbs recently. But the last almost two weeks I have not exercised constantly, and I have ate some cheat foods (joke was on me, because the stuff didn’t even taste as good as I remembered lol) But I have not gained weight I am the exact same. Today I am getting back on track. I am eating all five of my heathy meals, and I am going to the gym. Everything you said was reaffirmed , what I am learning. This is a life style. Not a punishment. I will eat “bad” sometimes during the rest of my life.But I will not give up on becoming the healthiest version of my self.

Hey Dawn and Ladies, do y’all wear a waist trimmer/trainer when exercising or it’s not necessary?
I wear one when I exercise.
I don’t think a waist trainer is necessary BUT I will say, when I feel bloated wearing the sweet sweat band makes me feel less bloated after a workout.

I only have upper body fat and I have tried a lot of things but I need tips on how to get rid of it
We can’t spot reduce fat. You can strength train that area but I would focus on lowering your body fat in general with a workout regimen and healthy diet.
