For Ryuji His parent chew him out and disowned him for having another kid assaulted with a weapon and he got send to juvie for a year. As for Mayuri she not only was getting scorn she was blacklisted to any sport event which broke her and her parents scorn her. And sense the video was spread She can never get a BF ever again. She went to beg the MC for forgiveness but the FMC chased her away and her remaining high school reputation was ruin that she drop out. She know a overweight shut in mutching off of her parents.

At BEST he could get a G.E.D.. With a criminal record for assault, he can forget about getting a good job, and a good woman as an adult. His life would have been ruined, as he deserved. As it is, he can graduate, go to college, get a good job, (at least until his attitude, forcing his work on others, taking credit for their work, etc. gets him fired) etc. NO punishment for his actions.

Aside from the revenge plot I loved seeing Yuto, and Shizuka's relationship develop though the story ended off with them as friends. I liked the romantic implication, but it's a shame we saw nothing passed that. I really enjoyed them bonding over books, and how Shizuka practically single handedly ploted the ex, and antagonist's downfall. Great story

My favorite author is Rick Riordan. I made a lot of friends at school because we were the nerds and outcasts that other schools didn't want. Oh yeah, I went to a charter school that put and emphasis on the performing arts and we had seven different departments dedicated to some field of study. It was like college but we were high school students. It's actually were I met my close nit group of friends that everyone called "The Motley Crew", we were a country boy (me), a goth girl with big assets (Nicole), a ginger gangster wannabe (Nate), twin brothers (Agustine and Alexander), an asexual computer genius (Lucas), my younger brother, a lesbian (Robin), and an actual pagan Satanist (Cameron). We were quite the strange ensemble of friends but we were and still remain good friends. We bonded over things like books, anime, video games, a shared love of all things involving art, and random trivia.

@@jimgilbert9984 Essentially, he was the stereotype that movies and television portray Satanists as, beheading animals in elaborate rituals, chanting "Hail Satan!", the whole nine yards expect he was actually very pleasant to be around. That's what I mean, he wasn't part of the Church of Satan that keeps those rituals in the past and believes in rebelling against societal convention, but a full-blown "I kill this animal in the name of the one true prince of darkness" guy. I honestly wish I was exaggerating about this, but he recorded the rituals he and his father did on his phone and showed them to us at school when one of us asked what he did outside of school, the less I describe the video the better it is for my sanity since it was that messed up.

So... I just finished watching this, kinda surprised the MC and Hiiragi didn't end up together, which is crazy, but at the same time I see they got a good friendship going on.
NOW, let me get this straight, some asshole and his ex-girlfriend planned this shit, hired (blackmailed) two guys to attack the MC, got him injured to the point of not being able to play baseball for a while, taking his ace position out of him, and to celebrate, they sent him a video admitting to everything, A VIDEO, if it was a videochat and Yuuto had forgotten to record it, then they would've gotten away with it, but nah, things went the way they did.
Now for my... comment, what the hell, is that it? I always said it, but some histories where they try to take revenge on the antagonists a good ammount of stories give them too little for too much or too much for too little, like, idk, MC loses his girlfriend who he dated for a month? The antagonists end up in the streets and live in poberty, the MC gets sent to the hospital, loses his wife, his job and his house? Idk he just gets everything back and the antagonists only get demoted, I always say that a right ammount of karma is enough, I would've preffered for these 2 to end up quitting school and moving to another prefecture to avoid any further problems but they stayed in school and only lost what they cared about the most, baseball, that's it.
My canon resolution is that, the 2 guys who got blackmailed into doing this got suspended since Yuto talked things out with the police, after the video was exposed, the whole school knew about this, teachers, students, eventually even parents, the families of the antagonists were angry and you'd expect and begged Yuto's to forgive them and get an out-of court resolution, whatever happens, those 2 would lose their position at school due to the rumours (that in this case are facts) and eventually quit due to the bullying and shunning from other classmates, having to move to another city where their infamy doesn't catch up to them.
That's absolutely right. It's not satisfying nor make sense that they didn't even get any worse punishment for what they've done they deserve the worse of the worse considering he sent his friends to attack another student.

Well, it won't affect Ryuji in any way because he got kicked out of the club with his reputation completely destroyed, but, his goons that does Ryuji's bidding are suspended from tournaments and the whole club take the fall with them despite having nothing to do with Tanaka's injury which would surely makes them being blamed and outcasted by the whole team.

He was kicked off the team so he is no longer the ace of the team that the school loves so much and respects the members highly, that hits him in the pride. And since they know he ordered an attack and stole with another man's woman he will be ostracized and ignored which kills his chances at being popular or having a social life, this gets his ego crushed. And since there was evidence of it he can't deny it which means he has to live with the fact that was so confident that he bragged about it to his rival that it cost him everything, this is basically a death sentence to a narcissist. His life is ruined with one simple punishment, there are worse fates than jail or death, being made a shell of yourself is one such fate. Simple, but effective.

All people involved should be charged with aggravated assault and battery(with intent to do permanent bodily injury), and solicitation to commit aggravated assault, and expelled from school and face serious criminal charges, much less sued by Tanaka. The school didn't take it seriously at all.

There was an attack that injured a teenager who was on his way home from school and that caused his arm to be broken and suffered several bruises, since the police will not be involved and even if the school turns a blind eye (because in solve serious problems are incompetent) since the parents did not report it and contacted a lawyer to make a criminal accusation, the rest of the story is fine along with the relationship that is being built between the protagonist and the main heroine, which perhaps It hasn't ended romantically and they are just friends, that's okay, it doesn't matter since it doesn't necessarily have to go straight there (although honestly I'm sure that eventually they will be a couple).

Not only that, the fact that members of baseball team was involved make things even messier. As a result, current baseball team members were permenantly dismantled due to the fact that they involved in the issue. Takahashi and members of the team who was involved in this was sent to juvie since they were below 18. As for Mayuri, she has to pay the compensation to Tanaka for that.
After that the parents were very angry and not only scorned them but punished them too. Takahashi faced the worst as the parents literally disowned him and since his misdeeds spead, their relatives and even neighbors disowned him. He is even denied university and jobs since he was involved in criminal activity.
As for mayuri, she has to do part time to pay the compensation but no avail largely because the incident even spread to TV news, she was denied to do part time. And even though her parents pay the compensation, the situation didn't improved as her parents were viewed with suspicions. As a result they kicked her out and now she quit school and wander on the streets. She tried to reconcille with Tanaka but he ignored her. As no one to help, she jumped from the river and took her own life

Since Takahashi will go to jail, Mayuri will pay since she was heavily involved in this. The fact that Baseball team knew that some of their members did this and turned blind eye, it's perfect punishment to get dismantled

But I was in high school inbthe early/mid 80's, so no social media, hence no real proof. And the popular/athletic/entitled kids got away with a lot.
