Hey Manufactured, small tip. Turns out you can actually avoid Bheithir's flame attacks. If you pay attention to the ledges, there are those wooden railings that you can hang on and shimmy from. Tilt yourself ever so slightly(Too much and you'll just fall down) and Death will hang on to em and get off scott free of damage! Do try it out in your new game+
If you take the harbringer and skill your teleport fully it´s a little easier because you will be behind him when you used it it heals you a little and you can chain a little combo.
Found a bug. If you go fight him after you have Soul Splitter, use that and he will he stuck doing the swipe attack. Then use Redemption from far away and it’s an easy, but slow, fight
thanks for the tip, I arranged my old play station 3 (FAT) and I'm playing darksiders 2, I remember it was a game that I liked a lot and I started to play recently to remember, even though these years I still consider it an excellent video game, I did not remember as was the boss Bheithir, this darksiders 2 is a puzlle from beginning to end 🎮👍
i just found a glitch with this guy. at one of the ends of the runway, there is a lil drop off. Not much, like 3 feet. if you sit there, bheithir will not be able to attack you or come at you. I just used the gun, its a great trick for if you are to under leveled to beat him.
just because u want to tell everyone that u play on apocalyptic doesn't give u the right to throw insults around. Furthermore, this guide SAYS IN ITS TITLE that it's about the LOCATION, fight, AND LEGENDARY WEAPON. the fight is just a part of it. It's still a good guide. Since you think it's bad, go make your own one before u start whining.
It's even easier if you go Harbinger (I was lvl 10, Apocalyptic). Basically what I did was kite him (like you did), walking backwards while shooting. When backed into a ledge and with Beithir close enough, I do one quick Teleport Slash toward him immediately followed by a dash to get behind him. Kept shooting at him while walking toward the other ledge. Do not melee! Rinse & repeat. Only got hit once doing this and ended with even more health than I started. :P

Instead of trying to run through the fire to get to the other side, use the ledges at either end of the bridge. When she gets close or uses her fire attack drop down onto them and get as far away from her as possible. She will charge past you, usually going into her AOE move if she reached the end of the bridge. While this is happening move back along the ledge and climb up when safe. You can now start shooting her again and repeat the process.
Max level is 30 FYI. First playthrough, the level cap is 22, new game + it's raised to 30, then when the Abyssal Forge DLC comes out, it'll be raised once again to 40.
All you have to do is hit him once with your scythes to get his health down. Just once or twice is enough. Then jump off the cliff. When you respawn, just keep shooting him as you back up, and keep jumping off the cliff when he gets close. You take no fall damage (on normal at least) and his health doesn't regenerate. So you can kill him easily with just the gun without ever taking any damage.
"The hardest part about Bheithir is actually finding Bheithir". I totally agree with you. I killed this boss with one hit... no kidding. I first thought that it was a cutscene, that was until I saw it's head split in two :) Thanks for the guide.
By the way there are a few ledges on the sides of the bridge that you can grab on to escape his fire breath as well as his charge attack. This way he won't fly away and it makes it easier to get behind him
The tips I leave for this game I'm playing again is to level up weapons and character and use one or two possessed weapons that take energy from bosses and enemies. I'm playing on PS3.
Because the bosses actually have some mechanics to be aware of. You only notice them if you play on apocalyptic. He did not notice them, so there is no point in making a guide in the first place.
they both have a percentage chance to occur when you teleport slash... basically it has a chance to randomly add a freeze OR a flame effect when you do the move.. and their chances can be increased by upgrading them.. but since you can easily get weapons with freeze flame shock inferno ice etc its useless to upgrade and waste skillpoints on freeze/fire upgrades for teleport slash..
Teleport slash is the most essential life saver in this game... i recommend buffing the whole teleport slash tree to higher levels (except for freeze or flame effect) i also used murder fully upgraded and health leech of murder to heal myself if i was outta potions
Sleeping dogs is about 25-30 hours long if u do all the sidequests, Darksiders 2 about 50 hours if u do all the sidequest, so Darksiders 2 is a longer game.
Hey i found it easier to instead of using the death grip to evade the inflaming walkway. There are grip ledges on opposing sides that come in handy you're welcome ^^
you don't have to use the death grip onto the next platform just hang on the ldeges and if you want to the death grip use it on bheithir to get in close if she's far away
i suggest you buy at least the unstopable spell from harbinger, it can help a lot on those bosses that have a temporary opening. mine are lvl 3 unstopable, but you can always use respec whatsoever.
Another way is to try to make him charge off the platform by standing on the edge and as he is about to hit you roll diagonally backwards on the platform and he will run off and die. I didn't manage to make him do this but I know someone who killed him usind this methord at the very stary of the fight.
hey manufacture i have been watching darksiders 2 it looks alot like KOA to me having finished koa and stop playng because was to easy and the monster and boss desings were not good for me you think darksiders 2 would be better for me?
three things... other than these not bad ( i have a walkthrough video floating around somewhere) 1. your fighting skills need to improve dramatically 2. NEVER NEVER NEVER go necromancer... Harvest Ability can easily deal 13k base damage to her along with teleport slash to gain everything back 3. would rhave recommended in the video not to even attempt her untill after completing the city of the dead.
You are wrong. Necromancer does, especially in NG+, an incredible amount of damage. As long as you spec accordingly, of course. Go Arcane, ACHD and max Skeletons with the shield (which actually raises your arcane, once you specced everything on the shield branch). Result? Thousands upon thousands of crit damage every second. Again, Necromancer *seems* underpowered but it’s actually tougher to spec but more rewarding end/late game.
Did you just go through the story while you were leveling or did you take time out to kill everything that moves in the fjord for example? I killed him at level 10 and I am currently at level 12 but I can't use the legendary weapon.
Yeah I had the "Fall of Ledge" ending after I did some damage to her and then fell over the side and help on to the ledge of the landing strip. It was weird...
I just killed him with... a cliff. There is an end to this bridge, where you can jump. It's below regular bridge level. Bethir's fire didn't hurt me, and when he charged he fell out of the bridge and it was over after a minute. LOL.
i play on apocalyptic at first when i played first time my lvl was kinda low around 15~ lvl in 20 hours but i accidently deleted that save and had to start over so i already knew what i am doing just started then killed thane when got my lvl 5 then went for that 10~ lvl boss then did scar , beithir completed all side/main quests in first "town" and was aprox 15 lvl when i was in tree of death place
just make sure you have some Posessed Armblades, mines has 31% crit chances + 34% crit damage, I just had to summon skeletons and killed him with 2 charged strikes
In my like 6 or 7th attempt at this fight, I ended up cheesing it by encountering a glitch where I entered my Chaos Form I think at the exact second I was gonna die and that gave me infinite Chaos Form's invulnerability and stuck in Chaos Form, but only able to use my gun (which I don't think you can normally use while in Chaos Form, right?).
what difficult were you playing on for me he was easy but i have powerful weapons and armor my weaps are both possessed and i have sacraficed alot to them

It wont allow me to access the Basement area of the Nook, I dont understand, yes i have the grip and Ive even beat the first realm, please help. I dont what to do.
I killed him at level 10. I'm not an elite gamer, but I go alright. Just used the gun and pawns the whole fight, took 5-10 mins, only used 1 health but.
Did anyone notice they used Tiamat from the regular Darksiders to make a fiery version of her. Behthir has some of the same attacks as Tiamat did

You have to leave out the back. There is a puzzle involving an elevator and one of those giant blue balls

I know this game is old but the fight is easier with teleport slash and the gun takes a while but you lose less health
Yeah I used the same method and the fight lasted less than mabey 3 min btw I'm only level13
yep there is...you can even leave a dungeon to sell stuff and fast travel back to your last spot in that dungeon

Her charge is a finishing move, just like the Dethroned King's Frost-Hammer-slam-thingy.

Dark siders 2. It has easier puzzles then the first one but it can still get pretty confusing.

You can also drop down 1 level at the edge of the right side. Then he just stands above you and can't hit you, but you can hit him.

Just a note, I'd probably wait until L15, not the 9-10 you suggest considering you can't use the weapon that drops until you're L15 anyway.
Here's how you do it - wait until she drops on the platform, teleport slash, attack until she rises, rinse and repeat.
Darksiders 2 is about 50 hours long, if you do the sidequests, its far from a short game.

Xbox live had this game free download about 2 months ago... Runs so,much smoother on xbox than it ever did on computer

yeah this was my first playthrough..would've done a lot of things differently. Even on my nightmare run which I got pwned. Really miss this game.

Use the arm blades of frost power attack,really helps.
just use the teleport slash, gets you behind him instantly and gives enough time to deal damage
I rocked 20% Lifesteal 20% wrath steal and pwned him in like 4 hits on NG+ apocalyptic like 30 seconds ago. lvl 27.

I beat him by using the pistol exclusively. Not the most exciting battle, but it got the job done eventually.

How long did you take to gel lvl 15 cause ive been playing it for ca. 7 hours and only get to the 8th...

yeah but all you have to do is hit him near one of the edges and it's an insta-kill..no need to think about it as much as you are.

the controls on PC are pretty clunky if you dont sort them out, not to mention the port
