I started off my channel not so long ago, but I felt God calling me to use it to spread the gospel. So now I always share a bible verse after my VLOGS.
Money isn't my idol, but sometimes RUclips can be that idol for me and that's still something I'm struggling with.

This is what I have observed to be good: that it is appropriate for a person to eat, to drink and to find satisfaction in their toilsome labor under the sun during the few days of life God has given them-for this is their lot.19 Moreover, when God gives someone wealth and possessions, and the ability to enjoy them, to accept their lot and be happy in their toil-this is a gift of God. 20 They seldom reflect on the days of their life, because God keeps them occupied with gladness of heart."
Is the full ending of the chapter. Same meaning but more debate between Christians as to what is enjoying and what is flaunting and loving $$ more than God.
I also enjoy the "accept your lot" in either verse. Lol that phrase alone is pretty much saying "just accept your place in life, even if it means your children starve," or "dont worry! God will provide! No need to try and further yourself, just have faith" which can be so damaging in the grand scheme of things(ie faith healing, not taking action because one is waiting for "divine" intervention) the brain washing indoctrination of "Have faith!" and "God will always be there for you" are lies that used to make me puff my chest out and go 'damn right!' but now i shake my head and think how much time i wasted on faith and thinking some invisible, all powerful being was always watching lol
I totally see where you're coming from. I agree that it is damaging for us to completely step out of the equation and just expect God to make everything magically happen. I often think of it like a parent. A good parent wants to be there and provide for you, and their love for you will actually drive them to include you in that process.
I inwardly cringed as soon as I saw that half-brown banana in the title sequence. I can't imagine it tasted that good.

I think it comes down to how and why it's asked for. You know? What is the heart behind the ask? Are we asking because we selfishly want to get rich? Are we asking out of desperation, clinging to money as an idol? Are we asking for God to enlarge our capacity for generosity and deepen the good we can do in the world through our resources?

Hi niamhemily223Xxx, if your love ones are still alive then they still have chance. Pray for them and just love them in obedience to God. Find a chance to evangelize them. Don't force them and instill fear in them to accept Jesus Christ but rather influence them by your life. Have A Blessed Day!!
