JonJorgenson Thank you for this Jon! I want you to know that your videos are a blessing to me, and j really appreciate your honesty, and how you explain the verses in this video . I personally use to be so focus on the question "What's my purpose in life ? Why am I here ?" And asking that question and never finding an answer can be exhausting. I have things in my life that I'm interested in and that I might possibly might want to do in my future, but God's ways aren't my ways so instead of me worrying about the future and what God has for me what I should be doing in the meantime is serving God throughout everything and maybe God will reveal things about myself that I didn't know before or he might even reveal my purpose. Thank you for helping me recognize that! Please don't stop making videos I truly enjoy them. I'm praying for you and your wife. Please never ever feel discouraged about your content or anything (not that you are.....I'm just saying) just know that you are helping me out and I appreciate you ! 😊😁😀✝️👍 I know God's plans for me is to give me hope and a future!!!!

I sat down after a day at work at a new and challenging job. I don't enjoy it but all I know is God clearly wants me there. I was feeling sorry for myself as I feel I should enjoy my job and use the skills I've been given. I was wrong. God again wants me to obey. No questions or excuses, just obey and see what happens. Thank YOU

This is me today all the way from South Africa. Thank you Jon for this message, my spirit needed it. This is the confirmation my heart needed. My friend sent me this chapter of Ecclesiastes back in September and my prayer this morning was highlighting everything in the chapter.
A sign I was praying for and wishing for and God just provided. It doesn't get any clearer than this.

Hi Jon! I'm a teenager and I want to talk about God to my friends and my teachers but I don't want them to think I'm weird or to associate me with the misconceptions about Christianity, so what sould I do? I try to talk about God every time topics like churches or religions come up, but still, I don't want them to label me as 'weird Christian'. I try to be kind but how will they know that I'm not being kind because of myself? So it's hard, I don't think that anybody in my class is very religious. But God said that we should preach His gospel and His name and I don't want any of my friends to die without knowing about Him. Well, of course their lives are hopefully far from over, but still it's my responsibility, too. What sould I do?
Pogácsa I understand. That's a great question. I think you control what you can control. Meaning be as true to who God made you and called you to be as possible and trust that God will open the people's hearts who need to be opened. You can't control how other people react to you.
Pogácsa I think the most important part of following Jesus is Jesus himself. I'm a teenager too and when kids bring things up like religion and the misconceptions about the church I always say something along the lines of "That's man's work. I'm talking about Jesus." Man are always going to fall short. Jesus never does. Because I don't really consider Jesus to be my religion. He's like my best friend. He's the guidance. And the savior. But He is not my religion. That can be a bit confusing but hope this helps!

READ ME! Great question! I would encourage them to get into community. Get into the word. And begin a daily practice of both.

Hey Jon! I wanted ask a question, I saw one of your videos from 2014 and it was a way to connect with God, Kinda like a meditation. Well I feel bad because I feel like I want to connect with Jesus in a different way. And not to mention I feel all stiff and feel emotionless, kinda like a brick wall. What do I do? What if Jesus thinks I’m a horrible person! Idk 😐 it’s a weird feeling..
イエス・キリスト 大好きです。日本語 音楽 pentagon Jesus will never think you're a horrible person. He doesn't see His people as only sinners. He sees the good in us, the craving for a connection with him. I know it because I felt it, too. That kind of "What is wrong with me?" feeling, right? You just want to connect, but you can't. You try to believe, but you can't. I don't know and I can't know what is the purpose for it, but maybe to discover that natural craving for Him inside yourself. And don't lose hope! God will strenghten your faith and he will give you amazing joy and amazing peace! I have had this feeling of amazing joy towards Him for some days now and it's something I am not afraid to lose because I can't lose it! (I'm sorry I'm off topic, just this kind of joy and peace, this strong faith I got from His grace is so new for me and so amazing!) And don't worry, pray to Him to strenghten your faith, and to use that little you have right now for amazing things! ( I would encourage you to read Luke 17,6 it gave me hope when I felt very miserable) The one who seeks Him will find Him! ☺ He won't refuse to fulfill anything you ask Him for, as a father won't refose to help his son in need!
