    Another awesome build, but to me the best part is the painting. I have a lot to learn on the several layers, combining colours to give a highlight, but most importantly, that just a little bit in certain areas is better than a complete overhaul of a single colour.

    Hey Steve, thanks so much for all of your videos! They are very helpful. If you don't mind answering 2 questions, I would appreciate it immensely! 1. What RPM/speed do you use on your dremel typically? 2. Does using Plasti-Dip get good coverage on builds with lots of folds like that ribbon or does it leave gaps?

    • @SKSProps
      @SKSProps  3 года назад +1

      First off thanks! I set my Dremel or Foredom to the highest speed it can go I want to say 35000. I do several light coats of plasti vs 1 or two heavy coats that makes sure that it has even coverage and won't run which can happen if added to thick

      I lay mine flat with several sheets on top of each other. Usually a couple of 10mm on top. If you want to be faster you can add a little heat with your heat gun and roll it the opposite way that will reset the foam to its normal state of wanting to be flat

    I printed out the pattern in a poster but Its still not big enough. I don't want to reprint as it was $20 to print it. What can I do?

      I don’t know what you did but you have to Open the pdf in adobe acrobat or adobe reader and “click” poster in the programs print settings
      that scales it properly over several sheets

      @@SKSProps I sent it to office max to print. I told them it needed to be a poster size, but I'm assuming they didn't open it adobe. Any suggestions besides paying to have it reprinted? Also I'm making this for my new Steampunk White Rabbit costume. I bought white rabbit fabric for the sash. I can't wait to see how it turns out.

      @@starrchild2010 you just told them the wrong size to print it at. the template is not “poster” sized. Clicking “poster” in adobe scales it properly regardless of the size of paper you use.

      @@SKSProps ok I'll figure it out. I got my EVA for yesterday, but they sent me grey instead of white. Now I have to deal with that.

      @@starrchild2010 grey foam is always better than white. White foam for some reason is always a lower density creating more fuzzies and superglues usually have bonding issues
