Carolina, thank you for bringing the smile back to the runway!
This is not his best collection for Carolina, but this is definitely a good, solid one. A true resort collection with classic and fun designs (true to the Carolina DNA) in toned-down wearable and relaxed fabrics. The addition of menswear is interesting to note in a sense that Wes may have potential in that arena…we need to see more. This designer is perfect at Carolina and I’m sure she’s satisfied, but he can also resuscitate struggling design houses if given the opportunity.
would love to see more menswear.
Really nice resort collection with a right vibe. Models walking on the podium barefoot bring the beach vibe to the show. All the dresses are good as well!
The parade would take place at dusk in Rio de Janeiro with Christ the Redeemer in the background, unfortunately a torrential rain prevented the parade, which was recorded at night, without an audience. The walkway was still soaked and I think that's why they didn't film the walkway floor. Some models were barefoot so as not to ruin their heels, but even with unforeseen tabtos, the show was beautiful.
I think it rained and the runway was slick. They didn’t want the models falling down. Cute though. I loved this collection and the vibe.

Nice collection, especially the florals in the first half. Brava to the models who smiled or at least looked positive, like they actually *liked* their outfits. I don't understand the zombie models, whose sullen or dead-eye look actually _detracts_ from the appeal of their garments. Who wants to wear an outfit that the model herself doesn't seem to like?

Why is there always one or two girls that aren’t a size 0. I feel like they are just trying to show how inclusive they are. It’s almost disrespectful to the girls, why can’t there be a variety of sizes, not 95% 0
