WONDERFUL video: straight to the point and without those ridiculous songs that these type of videos always have at the beginning. Thank you!!
Thanks, I got rid of my “music” very early on, I much prefer to just jump straight in.
Great job summarising such a wide-ranging set of capabilities so clearly. I know it takes a lot of eff ort to communicate complex topics correctly and clearly. I really appreciate the effort you put into making this great video. Thanks!

Excellent, thanks, and cheers back to you!
Wish I saw this before I started developing on platform, would have made it much easier. Recommend this for a great overview.
Hi Lisa, Excellent job!! you covered lots of material - it gave a great overview. extremely useful video for me. Raj
Very well presented - Thank you.
Much appreciated, thanks Doug.
At the 14:08 minute mark " ... thanks for watching. I hope that's been helpful ..."
OMG ... incredibly helpful. The video came out two years ago ... and I am just finding it now ... 🤦♂
Terrific overview ... thank you ... thank you ... thank you ... 😍
Thanks, glad to know it's still useful, and most of it is still current, although a lot more has been added since I made this!
Great video. I must say I also approve of the lego models you have in the background!
Well presented! Thank you!
You're very welcome!
Excellent job in giving an overview for the beginner - well worth a subscribe and like. :)
Much appreciated!
I thumbed-up only 3 minutes in, 'cause this is so excellent, watched it all the way to the end, then moved my mouse to thumbs-up again only to remember I already had. Hah! I wish I could like this more, in a way RUclips would understand. Thank you!
Thank you so much, love this! Adding a comment definitely sends another positive signal to RUclips, so thank you.
Great video Lisa. Keep at it. your channel is going get huge soon. Very informative. Would love a intro video to Power FX
Awesome, thanks so much for that suggestion, I'm planning on making that one.
Excellent explanation. Might need a bit of an update re the AI builder, but Lisa's are the only RUclipss I watch where I have to slow the speed down! Usually it's the other way! So much in there and all is relevant 10/10
You're right, there is actually quite a lot that could be updated here, it's on my (very long) list of videos to make! I honestly watch everyone else at high speed too. And I talk much faster in real life, I've had to learn to slow it down!
Nicely explained
Nice presentation thank you so much..
You are most welcome, thanks so much
Wow, great great great video!
Great introduction
I like this presentation❕ It was creative & engaging. I subconsciously couldn't find anything wrong with the content. It provided more than enough info but not too much.
However, isn't Dataverse also called Common Data Service❔
As someone who is interested in taking the PL-900 exam - Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals - your presentation is very helpful as an overview. Now, I see 1 of the reasons why you're an MVP⭐ (Most Valuable Professional😉). Props to the Ghostbuster vehicle aka Ectomobile👻🚓, I believe, in the bg. Thanks!
Thank you so much Ken. Yes, Dataverse is the new name for Common Data Service.
Many Thanks from Taiwan.
Thank you from Australia!
I've been watching quite a few of your videos today and decided to subscribe. Clear and concise explanations, much appreciated. I have one quick question: within this suite, is there a capability to run emails from outlook through an application and trigger workflows?
Thanks so much for subscribing. You can trigger workflows (using Power Automate) to send out emails, or on receiving an email. Tell me more about what you mean / your use case for running emails through an application, I don't know enough to answer the question from what you've said here.
@@LisaCrosbie Hello Lisa, thanks for replying to my question. I wanted to know if it is possible to run emails received in outlook through Power Automate, trigger a workflow and send a response on the back end of the workflow. Basically all our work is on outlook and i am looking to find a way of running email queries through a platform with defined workflows and allow me to have data for analysis.
excellent
nice and to the point
i like the way you explained it
Thanks so much
I passed PL-900 exam with 861 score.
Your videos helped me to understand the power platform.
Thank you.
Awesome, congratulations 👏
Where would one start if one wanted to learn this platform?
Your amazing, I am looking for tomorrow’s next video
Awesome, thank you! I try to get one out each week as much as I can.
thank you
Thanks alot!!
You're welcome!
Can you make a video showing how students can benefit from learning and applying these tools, please?
It all looks nice and shiny, but you have not covered anything related to a code for the apps, releases, promoting from one environment to another. Any case studies who was working with this?
Thanks
Thank you so much 😊
Thanks, your presentation was good. One issue: maybe it's just me but the screenshots that accompanied your explanation were not in focus. Headache and loss of opportunity to study them while you talked.
Sorry to hear that but I think it's an issue your side, the screenshots are in focus.
Please make a video on Azure Application insight for Canvas Apps, Modal Driven Apps and Portals
thanks for the suggestion, I'll add it to my list!
This lass needs a cool intro like "I will show you... The pow-aaah" ⚡🏋🏻♀️
Hahaha, now that’s a great idea!
if the staff who configure the App leave the company , who know how to maintain it ?
Likely suitable for SOHO
Great Plains + MS Access
How can a developer get access to a MS Power Platform sandbox to learn Power Platform?
You can get a free developer plan here powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/developerplan/
Hi Lisa!!! It would be great If you attach all your transcript all together
Hi Kishach, what do you mean?
@@LisaCrosbie when you talk the transcript has been shown at the bottom of the screen. If you gather and attach all your speech together it helps your followers to have notes in addition to your speech .
Dear Madam
Only powerapps error showing please can you help "Hmmm Somethink went wrong" any solution ?

Ive been doing bunch of red-teaming lately where power apps, automate and data verse is the weak link used for both data access but also code execution. Its scary that so many things are enabled by default for the whole company. Im not sure why this approach was considered a good idea.
Hello, thanks your video. Is it possibility to use model-driven app if customer have different crm or database or management offerer or use totallyt different data in their system. Is it possibility to use model driven app this cases? Should it thus use canvas app? could you make a sowtware data engineerin video including different of scenarious and how power platorm positions itself in different cases. Put like a expose picutre picture or cartoon movie how to explain the connector and how to it display in end user. Different kind of scenarioius various cases with power platform sowtware. Like if i have a not a MS ERP or different CRM or other managament system like intra needs to effective app underneeth of doing something or is it always that it always shown end user display different, what it shows what we do in power model driven app if like doing something sharepoint work flows or something else. Need weed explosed picture or video and cases or scenarious and how the data moving and shown to other system or dispaly or etc. Hope you get it what i mean :)
You can only use a model driven app with Dataverse as the data source. If you want to build an app connected to another data source you should use a canvas app. You might find this video helpful ruclips.net/video/D5rHJsBShMQ/видео.html
model-driven apps require a common data service database
a flow instance can only access one common data service database
canvas apps require a common data service database
Common Data Service is now called Dataverse. Yes, you need it for a model driven app. Yes, a flow can only access one Dataverse environment. But canvas apps can be built on any data source, you don't need Dataverse for them.
whenever i hear/read "you don't need to know how to code" i expect horrible apps with bad ux, no error checking, no security, and untested results
Not necessarily the case. Have your IT pros set up all the security and connections to other data sources properly. Then you can use low code as a way to speed up building more complex use cases or allow business users to use templates and drag and drop design to build smaller apps they need - rather than using Excel which has no security at all.

I'm unable to reply to all the direct requests I get for help but if you post your question here I will try to answer.
