yea..I know. I was sad to find out that the golf course is no longer open....did you know that there is a bike trail that crosses right across the approach path of 34R? I watched from the south end past the SLC police office. I told them I would be there.
Spooky Boi I would try getting on the south end when there is a north wind...I would recommend parking in the economy lot by the slc police headquarters I think...I did have to walk to near where the old golf course entrance is...I would recommend that as a good spot plus they have a running trail for people around the south end
Where can you go park your car to watch planes take off and land? I love watching planes take off and land and don’t even know I can do that. I drive past the airport every morning and afternoon on my way to and from work, I’m working a temp job further west. But literally I love seeing the planes while I’m driving, I’d like to park though and watch them. But literally I can’t park on the side of the freeway lol
Well this was from the south end of the airport...there is actually a running and cycling path that goes right under 34R approach path so its right near there where the old golf course used to be. I called police dispatch and told them I would be there and they were pretty cool and didn't have a problem w it.

Where can you watch anymore at SLC? We haven't since 9-11 at the South west end. Use to have a parking lot.
