Literally every government on the planet, everyone taking money from the tax payers, in usa, you have to pay 30% of your salary on top of indirect taxes and a 10-22% tips for every service you use. After living there for few years, i got new found respect for the Indian tax system, atleast they only ask for 8-10% of your income as a direct tax and 5-18% indirect taxes for the service with a relatively better health care (in US, even after paying high insurance premiums, you will still have to pay lot of money, even for basic care), the food? Don't get me started on this topic, everything is super processed, even a Apple that looks like 🍎, tastes like a tomato.
Bharat Benz (Daimler-Benz) makes modern trucks but the reason why I don't discuss them is their low market share at 9% only, which grew by 2.3% last year.. I only considered the top 5 makers. Otherwise, a good highlight 👍

I am in Canada and thus will explain why truckers cover larger distance. Its because of the distance between places in USA and Canada is very much. So 1000 kms ita like nothing ...something only one petrol pump in 400kms...the road is without villages or town or anything...ita all barren land so it's possible to cover up those distances. In India we do have good roads but still we are more dense. In 1000 kms we may cross many cities and villages so it's not possible to cover those distances in same time as compared to Canada USA Australia

I love those long nose trucks of US and Canada. But sadly they can't run smoothly in the traffic of India. I've never seen a long nose truck in India. Tata had one or two nosed truck models in old days but their nose was too short, and nowadays I don't even see them, only flat faced trucks are here.

There have been reports that these sleeper coaches have become source of unsocial activities! Indian truck body / coach builders have little automation in their factories.
