I love the basic waveforms, they have a lot of cutting power in the mix and my stuff doesn't really need more than that. I would've been happy with saw, square and sine at '99 and I still am 😁
I really like it for house and breakbeat, even if I too have acquired taste for the classic TR sounds. And I think I'm going to keep it as a controller for the TR-8S once I get it, as this one allows every single note to have its own swing. TR-8S only has the master swing which on a drum machine is fine but a bit of a meh too if you've used the Drumbrutes sequencer 😁
@@superducker7899 I run my drums to different channels too and then run all of them through the drum master sub. All the drum channels have their own compressors and I can decide if I want to run them sidechained or freely. The sub has a master compressor so they're basically parallel compressed too. I just go my second 3630 so I'm looking to upgrade to a mixer with two subs so I can run the synths to their own sub too. The behringer I'm using right now is on its last leg, the PSU on it is very noisy and even if I have the skill and the tools to fix it, I keep postponing it and hoping that I find a replacement mixer before it blows up completely 😂

@@minikuiotoko The workflow on the drumbrute is awesome. I (used to) use mine for techno, using different pedals on the individual outs.
