Rumi's quiet meditations allowed the Devine to speak into into him and Rumi being generous was able to record those words for us. You may be crying for several reasons, I would guess that his poetry has touched somewhere inside you that you had tried to hide. I would appreciate this. Hafez and Saadi are harder to interpret the true meaning in English. There is metaphor, play on words, lost in translation. I think if a native speaker made the video they could find artistic ways to help English speakers understand the meaning and feeling. (I understand these poems best listening to Iranians talk about them.)

Beautiful!!! I was lucky enough to see a Rumi exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY City.tears ago, with his original manuscripts, artifacts, belongings, and much more. I wasn’t very familiar with him then, may not have ever heard of him at that point. As my awareness of him and love for his poetry grew, I was so grateful to have had that experience.
