No problem! Thanks for watching.... And, no sir, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. This line company spent a lot of money to make the spool pretty (eye candy effect) but, it's unfortunately no good. More tests coming! Take care, Fish on!
I unfortunately bought 20lb x8 braid, came listed as 21lb. Im hesitant now I've seen this but I literally backed and spooled my spinning rod with it so I'll give it a go. Luckily I have my baitcaster with Berkley stealth and even an ultralite with seagar fluorocarbon.
This is pretty much what I would expect with PE 1.0 (. 16mm) x8. 20 pounds is Absolute Breaking Strain (ABS), so not really too bad IMO. I'd happily micro slow pitch at a max depth of 75 metres with the stuff if nothing else was available.
Mike O, very true It is ABS. Lowest below labeled strength we have ever tested. But there are cheaper lines, same lb test, that are thinner with far higher breaking strength.
Ugghhh..just bought the 30lb 8 strand yesterday. I was going to use it as the main line of my striper setup. Now I have serious doubts. I'd hate to hook a quality fish and loose it (and a $20 lure) due to inferior line.
I don't think I'll get any of that. Thank ya'll for showing this.

Thanks for the videos. Great help on the truth, and now I know I can fish with a lighter line, which will help on throwing distance. Again Thanks.

Bad tool manual winding, you could see it jumping higher on each click of ratchet then drop back.
