I installed a set of these on my JT this weekend ... without a lift it is kind of a PIA. I did figure out that by disconnecting the rear swaybar and lifting by the frame in front of the wheel per the side installing the bag you can get enough articulation that the spring opens up. The springs are progressive with the coils tightening up towards the top of the spring. If you don't extend the spring you cannot gain access to attach the air line. All in all after install I am happy ...

Why not use a T connection and only have only one fill?
That's always an option. All you'd need is the Tee fitting, part # AL21838.
