Hey dude, if you have a PS2 that plays Japanese games you REALLY should get Resident Evil Outbreak Japanese version. It's still playable online thru Private servers!!!
What I love about your pickup vids is that you actually show gameplay of the games you get, along with a lot of good info/memories. I hate watching pickup videos where they just show you what they got. So kudos
The Metal Jesus crew is easily the best retro gaming squad on youtube. I love how it's just conversational, makes you feel like you're in a room with your friends. Not to mention that he includes women and POC, which you just don't see on a lot of retro gaming channels.
Whilst watching this video I was thinking what a really cool guy Reggie is, and judging by all the other comments here everyone else seems to think the same thing! It’s great to see the passion you both have for all types of games from all platforms. I look forward to your seeing more from you guys!
OMG metal jesus you fucking rule. i asked for a pick ups and you give me a massive episode with reggie too wow such a good sub channel. nxt gimme a new game room tour and i will be happy
Master System games are essentially Game Gear games... so pretty much all of the Game Gear games ARE on the Master System... Of course there are exceptions but yeah, pretty much if you think back to earlier Gamegear games, they were on the Master System. If you want pointers, you should check Sega Lord X's posts on RUclips.

hell yeah, i owned Golvellius: Valley of Doom, i wish that Kelesis had more adventures after that but sadly he was overlooked, pity. also had Phantasy Star but not Ys, didnt find out about that game til later.
Great video guys. Reggie if you keep the Master System you should pick up Phantasy Star, Shinobi, The wonder boy games, Alex Kidd and Alex kidd in shinobi world, the Sonic the Hedgehog games, and Rastan as starters.
Life is Strange is one of my top favorite games ever! I'm in a wheelchair, paralyzed in a tornado.. So I connected to A LOT of the story and the decisions they made you face. I cried sooooo much during it... I would love a limited edition copy of it. Just because. I'm not a collector, but i LOVE your videos and the nostalgia of everything.
Love it when Reggie is on. Another great video. I also love that you show the game play of the games you showcase on your pick up videos. It's something small for some, but I personally love to see what the game actually looks like and that makes it just that much better for me. I can't wait to get me some Motorstorm games now!
I got excited when I saw Rogue and I'm surprised Reggie hasn't heard of it. I've been a fan of roguelikes for about 10 years now and I still can't get enough of them.
Always happy to see Reggie! Also, I really dug the multiple angles in this video. It amazes me how, even though you're already talented at video production, you find new ways to improve your videos every week. Keep up the hard work MJR, it shows!
Master system games Alex the Kidd Sonic Streets of rage Jurassic park Transbot Shinobi Lemmings Special criminal investigation Wonder boy Altered beast Golden axe

I always enjoy and look foward to Metal Jesus and Reggie games pick up videos always entertaining. Also got to say Reggie taste in games are awesome helps me look for shoot em ups or fighting games that I might have over looked. As always the two of you keep bringing out these awesome videos.
REGGIE!!! I never had the master system when I was younger either. I'm 33 now. I got mine Xmas 2013. It actually became my 3rd favorite console, behind nes, and snes. Hey man, these videos you're pumping out with Reggie are great. Love the broad system content- bonus content of some MP action at the end would be awesome! ~ Cheers from your neighbor in Portland
Great video Metal Jesus. And some great pick ups from yourself and Reggie! "The Adventures of Quik and Silva", is a must (From an Amiga and Atari St enthusiast). And Ghouls and Ghosts on the Atari ST has some of the best 16 bit music ever made. Ever.
I just picked up that same Hakuoki PSP limited edition game! Absolutely love the series. Also have Hakuoki Memories of the Shinsengumi for the 3DS as well. Awesome video as always guys!~
I love these videos. The import stuff Reggie has and the weird PC stuff that MetalJesus digs up is really interesting. Also, cool Ghost poster in the background. :)
Wow man you had some good old school finds. I had Rescue on Fractalus again for the color computer 3. I was never good at it, but I loved playing it. I love those Epyx game boxes.
Does anyone else think Reggie needs a channel and to do his own reviews? I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE REG! I think that if this comment gets enough likes/ comments that he should do it! Even when its simple stuff like just standing and talking about games, its fantastic!
CAPTAIN BLOOD !!! OMG I had that on the ZX Spectrum in the 80s. I even completed it, which is amazing for me, as I hardly ever completed any games, always moving onto something new. I really enjoyed it as a youngling :D
Master System was huge in Brazil, so nostalgia is great here :) Some of my favorites were Astro Warrior, Alex Kid in Miracle World, Zillion, Fantasy Zone II and Psycho Fox. There are far more great games but a lot of them were also released in Mega Drive/Genesis.
Sega Master System was my first console too, it was great to have a system that not everybody was gunning for, NES was great of course but the SMS has a charm of it's own and it was well made.
Shadow Complex is my all time favorite downloadable game. I hope one day we will receive a physical version of it. I also would be $60 for it. LOVE IT!
I love the videos with Reggie. He is always so nice and has a great vibe.
I'm a simple guy. I see Reggie in the thumbnail, I watch the video.
Ohh....

Over 40 min with MJR and Reggie = instant thumbs up when the video starts.
Awesome comments like this : Instant THUMBS UP from me :)

What I love about your pickup vids is that you actually show gameplay of the games you get, along with a lot of good info/memories. I hate watching pickup videos where they just show you what they got. So kudos
Reggie must get Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap for SMS. The port of Double Dragon is pretty good, too.
I love WB3. The Master System was the shit here in Europe.
Jesus, I never had a SMS... I need to buy one ! Now that the 16-bit war is over for almost 2 decades, it will look good alongside my NES.
the first Phantasy Star as well. Great RPG
trying to think of Reggie bate cute anime girls. Psychic World? maybe a game gear to master system converter as the states got less games for the MS.
The Metal Jesus crew is easily the best retro gaming squad on youtube. I love how it's just conversational, makes you feel like you're in a room with your friends. Not to mention that he includes women and POC, which you just don't see on a lot of retro gaming channels.
+Justin M thanks!!
Justin M yup! love it for the same reasons
Agreed! :)
lol, "POC", fuck off
Pathetic that you mentioned women and poc. Really bad
A SUPER-SIZED games pickups video with Reggie! Check out his channel at ruclips.net/user/icon770
So Dont Starve would be a modern version of Rouge? Btw, thanks for letting me know about freedom planet, shame i almost missed that game
I have the exact same doom shirt as yours. This is weird.
You can play SMS games on the mega everdrive so there's no real reason really to buy one?
Don't Starve has got to be the best Rogue game I've ever played.
This GAME PICKUPS with Reggie was so fun! It's way better than when presented by only one person.
Whilst watching this video I was thinking what a really cool guy Reggie is, and judging by all the other comments here everyone else seems to think the same thing! It’s great to see the passion you both have for all types of games from all platforms.
