Apologies for the sort of random nature of this, but I don’t use Twitter..
Anyway, do I need the “64DD IPL” file, or some kind of BIOS, to run DD games on an Everdrive 64 X7? I downloaded the files marked as cartridge patched, but I still just get a black screen when I try to boot them.

You need the Expansion Pak to play them.
