    You made a really good comparison video more than a Vs. video, as it’s always hard to pit different scales against each other in a pass/fail style competition.
    You showcased two things really well though; the smoothness of the drivetrain in the new M variants absent the portal axle induced slop inherent in the FCX24 & FCX18’s. And the smoothness of the suspension the Discovery has with that extra body weight on top. Both great vehicles and platforms to work off of. 👍

      @@JT-6s thanks for the feedback! I really appreciate. It’s not meant to be a competition as these are two different platforms. The only thing they share is the fact they’re both 1/24 scale.
      I think FMS has nailed it with this new FCX24M! Plus it’s proper fun trying to run through obstacles in stock form, which so happens to be very capable 👍👊

    I appreciated the measurement comparisons! I want to see if I could fit a K5 body onto the fms24m chassis, with some 3d printed mounts. I think it would look a lot more scale with smaller tires and tucked-in wheels.

    • @marciopereira1065
      @marciopereira1065  3 месяца назад

      🤔 that would take a lot of doing to fit. But I would be curious to see to be honest. 👍👊

    I have both of these same models. Trying to compare them is pointless. They are completely different beasts. The Blazer is at least 18th scale and the Disco is around 20th. Wheel size and portals etc give the Blazer a huge advantage before adding more weight to the roof of the Disco. No comparisons are really fair, but in this case, I think the closest you could get would be the stock Disco against a stock SCX24 Jeep JLU but with a similar hard body fitted. The chassis are so similar and overall trans layout. And obviously limit the Disco to 1st gear.

    Are those spline drive shafts, rather than the + section we've had until now?
    And are those beadlock wheels? Lovely little tyres might be nice on more scale 1/16 scale rigs.

    • @marciopereira1065
      @marciopereira1065  4 месяца назад +2

      Not sure about the shafts, but will check.
      The wheels are not headlock. The tyres are not glued either but they’re are very sticky so they don’t slip on the wheels. There’s no need to glue the tyres.

      Not really! The FCX24M is in my opinion (if you watch my initial review of it) a great 1/24 scale truck! The videos intention was to show people the differences between the FCX24 and the FCX24M.

    Like the Disco, I can't get over the flaws in this comparison. Either laiden them both with the same additional roof weights, or run them both entirely stock.

    All these problems/test prove is that portals and bigger tires are useful, it doesn’t speak to an any of the chassis differences. This is a flawed comparison
