I love how Alex looks a bit overwhelmed when he and Henry go out onto the balcony, and how his wave is a little awkward. And then when everyone’s up on stage for Ellen’s speech, Henry’s the one who looks a little awkward.
Perfect symmetry, showing how they’re still working out how to fit into the other’s world, but determined to do it anyway, because they want to support each other.
Also, Casey’s author cameo at 2:15. Yay!
Love it when he says, “We’re the Blue team.” He knows he’s now part of Alex’s political family.
Taylor and Nicky's chemistry is electrifying. Never seen it before in any other screen couples. I guess the roles are destined for them.

I could shut the world out for 24hrs and just look at these two courgous divine men on repeat,I think I'm obsessed,pls pls the museum scene on repeat.
I have lost count of how many times I have watched this movie. Being older I must confess that i had never heard of Nick or Taylor as actors before, but they have become two of my favorite actors at this point. Their chemistry reminded me of the old love stories of the 50's like Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart. They are incredible together and this movie has also become a comfort movie to pull out and watch whenever I need a boost.
The way that Henry is SO supportive and just there for Alex and his family DESPITE being from a DIFFERENT COUNTRY is SOOOOOOOOOOOO sweet.
We NEED more people like Henry and Alex in this world.
Perez and Galitzine are wonderful in this film. Much has been said about their chemistry, which is palpable. But neither actor has shown as much heart or honesty in their other work. The difference is the sensitivity of the creative team. Director Matthew Lopez and cinematographer Stephen Goldblatt give them a glowing jewel box to inhabit. With the addition of the intimacy coordinator, Robbie Taylor Hunt, the intensity of the character's relationship materializes on screen. You sense that there was pride and love coming from all departments and that that provided a platform which allowed the two lead actors to become two lead characters that make us laugh and cry and love them. Cynics have attacked the film for not being what they want or think it should be, but that is short-sighted. The achievement of RW&RB is that it is completely what it sets out to be -- a smiling act of hope and love.

Has anyone mentioned the little smile Henry does when Alex holds his hand on stage? It’s so cute ❤
I find that a real tell. His astonishment that Alex takes his hand in public, and that little smile of being overwhelmed at being allowed to show affection in public, the way he keep looking down at their hands clasped together, as if taking a private snapshot of such a telling - and psychologically releasing - highlight moment in his entire life. And becoming a part of another family. The sigh and the smile as he releases his shoulders; Ooh, I love acting with such detail in it!

I believe the election scene posed another challenge, as it appears to be a single extended take performed mainly by Taylor, in addition to the beautifully Fireside Chat single-take scene executed by Nick. Both of you are incredibly talented and exceptional performers!
Exactly, you can tell how anxious Alex was about the election and when he sees his mum make the concession speech he face falls even more and he immediately needed to be with Henry. Taylor was brilliant here.

I love this movie!!! I have watched it 4 times in 1 day and I cannot stop. The book and the movie are great. The chemistry between Nick and Taylor is off the charts!!! I laughed, I cried. Everytime I watch it I see more details and nuances that I missed. The love making scene was perfection!!! Never seen anything like that before. ❤️

Taylor and Nicholas are the perfect cast for Alex and Henry, they are pretty comfortable with each other and their chemistry is soooooo perfect.
And, i love how this movie turns out, the book is good, but the changes in the movie makes the movie more enjoyable because they really focusing on alex and henry more
And, alex and henry personalities are actually so perfect, and really smart. We can understand them and not annoyed by every decisions they made because it is reasonable and it is the best for them
So, they are like the perfect characters, with the perfect story, with the perfect cast
Loved Prince Henry's Oscar-winning speech to Alex in the palace during the storm about not wanting to switch his life from one prison to another (paraphrasing here).
Honestly if this wasn't a gay romcom, Nicholas Galitzine would totally win some awards for his portrayal of the reserved and proper Prince Henry. I just love them both together so much! 💘

Totally on board with a new show with these two. Don't get me wrong, I would love a sequel to rwrb. But the movie ended in such a nice happy place, and it was very well made, so it will be tough to keep the quality in the 2nd one unless they take some time to plan everything (Matthew even said that he wont do it, unless he has all the details drawn out/figured out). So I guess if we want something quicker, maybe a different project with these two as leads would be amazing 😁 specially a series.
