I actually quite like watching you do mundane, every day type things like food shopping or house decorating! There's something very relaxing about them and I always love your funny, positive personality. Plus, gorgeous trench coat, suits you so perfectly!
It's nice that you added the Burberry Trench coat, prior to the fall fashion weeks Burberry line. It looks nice. I own one piece of Burberry and I love it, it's just a black clutch with a brass bow and brass zip.
Love the coat!! :) If you think your kitchen's bad, you should see mine. Moved in in February and still haven't got around to re-doing the kitchen but it's bright pink/fuchsia!! I like to call it Barbie's kitchen. :) x
So nice to get a vlog! I also live in a 60s house, styled somewhat sympathetically and so I really enjoy nosing around yours (in the nicest possible way!). The kitchen staging looked great and you have persuaded me to dig out my purple half length Burberry trench that I was going to sell on, but I'm thinking maybe I'll keep it now!! Xx

I have a coin thing on my keys that can be used for trolleys. I always have my keys with me so always have the coin :) Got it from eBay for a few pounds.

Wait-you have to pay for a shopping cart?! That's insane! My husband walked by as you started your car-he gave it a thumbs up. Only my husband could manage to watch a beauty related video and notice the car! Hope you'll vlog the kitchen remodel!
It used to be normal to see abandoned trolleys everywhere because kids stole them to ride around in. So now you put a coin in to release the trolley then you get it back when you return the trolley (or you let a kid take it back for you and earn themselves £1!)
You get it back, it's just so you don't nick the cart! HAHA!!!!
That's so funny....I noticed the SLK as well because I have one. Good on your husband Marnie. Now I can say that I have model's car! Love all you videos Ruth.
We have that here (in Canada) too - you have to pay $1, sometimes it's 25 cents and then you get it back! I usually take one of those hand baskets if I don't plan on buying a ton!
You can also get a "fake" coin, it's made for trolleys, you just put it in and get it back. I got mine at Tesco - this comment was not sponsored lol.
You should really do a house tour, before and after! (aka, I'm really nosey and want to look and steal tips from you!)
