After watching these videos, I went on FF and bought Arkham 3E and all 3 expansions. I’ve been on the fence about getting into this one, but your clear directions sold me. You outta get a commission or something, these games ain’t cheap
i know i'm not the target audience for this video, as i have been playing arkham horror for a bit over a year, however this was an AMAZING video, and i wish i found it sooner because i ended up watching about 5 different videos before understanding enough of the rules to play, and then slowly understanding the rest while playing, but your video is just a thousand times clearer than any other, well done!
Excellent video. Tried playing this the other night and struggled a lot, but your clear & concise video really helped clear a lot of things up for me. Looking forward to watching the rest of them.
Great overview. My wife was nervous by the set up, but I pointed out the similarities between this and Pandemic (which you mentioned) and Gloomhaven. Very helpful guide!
Quick Update: Almost done with the next episode. About 90% there. I've gotta little bit more to go and then the usual quality checks. Thank you for your patience!
Really really good work! Love that you show wirh grafics what you talk about. That makes it very easy to understand for me, who is not very good at english. Ty.
There's 3 cards beside the scenario card, 2 and 3 but what's the other? I'm just a bit confused. Good video, clear concise and the visuals help a great deal!
I have a question, I'm interested in getting this, but I would like to know, if possible, if the previously released expansions are compatible with the 3rd edition. This edition has the detachable pieces for the board, but a few expansions introduced new boards, but those are "whole" boards and wouldn't be able to fit with this edition. So, is it possible to play this 3rd edition with all the other expansions?
As far as I know, the 2nd edition expansions are not compatible with the 3rd edition. 3rd edition's design is so different it's practically a different game. Fantasy Flight is releasing new expansions for the 3rd edition.
@@harsh-rules Didn't expect a response that fast :) and thanks for answering, helps a lot. I saw something about an expansion being released for 3rd Edition and the name didn't show under the other expansions so I thought it was a new one. I'm glad you could confirm that too. Thanks!
I have a question = I own Mansions of Madness and Eldritch Horror ... those two kinda are at the extremes of gameplay scope for arkham files games (globetrotting v room crawling). ... I'm curious how this compares to the other two
@@harsh-rules ha! good one. Here's a better way to phrase my intended question: MoM is extremely narrative driven bordering an RPG in some of its scenarios. EH is generally more of a "put out the fires" game with a heavier emphasis on mechanics. ... so ... I'm trying to figure out if the game mechanics tone of AH is different enough from the other two to warrant a purchase (Local game stores and friends don't have it, hence not being able to ask them)
@@jonathonfreeman9233 While it does have a narrative component, the new AH has a "pandemic" type mechanic that makes it a little more of a "put out the fire" type of game. At least that's my opinion.
Arkham Horror 3rd edition is such a HUGE downgrade from 2nd edition. Same with Runebound 3rd from 2nd ed. Really shows the weakness of FFG when it comes to over engineering something that should be more fluid and simple, they're showing their autistic anti-social skills at worst. It's a damn shame, it just... sucks
Just watched this today (April 19, 2023). Excellent video, well done.
Setting up the game includes instructions not found on the setup sheet?! Blows my mind.

Amazing work! We watched the three tutorials and we couldn't have done it without them! We enjoyed watching them.
5:02 says "Fractured Anomaly" when it's actually "Temporal Fissure". great video, thank you
Very clear and complete, as usual; maybe even a bit more flair - love the Info Film.

The third "card" is the remainder of the archive deck.
I wish I had watched that video before I started playing :) While I was doing ok, it took me a lot of time to get going :p
Thanks once again for a great instructional video
You're welcome, Mark!
Thank you! I would had never figure it out without your help.

Arkham Horror fills the middle ground of being in a single town. You're exploring neighborhood by neighborhood. So Street Crawling...?

When is the next one ready to watch? :-)
I'm over half way done. I lost a couple days to the flu. Going to crank on it this weekend and see if I can get it done and out.
Would u do the Arkham Horror the card game? It’s hard to understand
Great video
You sound a bit like idubbbz jokes aside thanks for the help
