Excellent overview, recap, and review. Love the production value and time put into the presentation as well. Thanks for checking out the Root Beer Floats and glad to hear you're really enjoying them!
any preferred method of lubing these switches ?
Love the crisp sound unlubed I think I might just lube the springs once my order comes in
Just a tip, based on how RUclips algorithm works, comments > subscription > likes. So at the end of your videos, better ask your viewers to comment instead, to widen your reach since your content deserves it. 👌
Will keep this in mind. Thanks!
Helpful video, ty!
Great video. Merkeebs! Cheers! 🎉 Btw which stabs do you prefer? Stabies or tx?
Noice!🎉
Nice vid
Very nice video 🤠
I know this is pretty late but how does this switch compare with the akko lavender purples and akko v3 cream blue pros? Theyre the only tactiles I've tried
Hi the switch have a high pitch sound ? If you try the Akko cream blue v3 is more or less pitch sound ?
How do you compare the tactile strength to holy pandas?
Are they better stock than the Knc green jackets?
I know these are your new favorite but do you prefer these or
the baby kangaroos as far as the sound and feel profile is concerned
Hi there, Merkeebs! Great video.
Pertaining with the sharpness, is it comparable to Gateron Blizzard/KNC Green Jackets/MoYu Viola/Geon Clear?
Cause if yes, that switch will be my next choice for my HHKB. 😁
The IC page compares the tactile bump to the Gateron Blizzard and Gateron Baby Kangaroo switches.
From personal experience though, can definitely say its comparable to KNCKeys Green Jacket Tactiles and Moyu Viola switches.
Haven't personally tried Geon Clears yet so can't really compare.
Hi, how is the lube method in this video compared to other traditional lube methods in terms of souding, feeling, and consistency. Does it affect the tactile bump in negative ways? Do you have any videos of this lubing method in details. Thanks.
interested in this as well , as the leaf ping is quite bad for my batch , and shroud mod is not working on em
They sound reallyyy good lol! How do they compare with cream sodas? I'm going for a more deep thocky tactiles. Are these better that cream sodas in this regard?
Cream Sodas are definitely thockier. These switches do lean towards the clacky side more that's for sure.
Though comparing linears and tactiles is a whole other discussion altogether.
@@Merkeebs my bad man. I got confused. I was actually trying to compare them with ice kachang by keebz n cables not sure if youve heard of those switches tho, but theyre kinda like the 4uts but for me a little better?
Good video, though I have a random question. Is the narration your actual voice or are you using a voice actor?
It is my actual voice haha. I get this comment pretty often and still wonder how people really find that hard to believe hahaha.
All the proof is in my stream VOD's or even over on my Twitch. But then again even the people in my community find it hard to believe that it's my actual voice lol.
Thinkin if I should start doing on-camera work so that people start believing the voice is legit 😆
@@Merkeebs I believe it is you haha but you should consider doing narration or voice over work man, you have a great voice for it.
alright
Just want to point out that both sound tests were ABS. I’m not mad or anything, but I think you could’ve had PBT in there. I may be biased because when I tried the Cream Sodas, I noticed the sound with ABS wasn’t very… substantial?, but somehow PBT almost completely solved that
way too pricey when u can get 90 switches guaranteed to be good for around 160 to 200 rmb which translates to around 20 dollars
