Although, the fact it comes apart at all might suggest it could be repaired by a specialist? I wonder if there’s an on line service available Edit goodle suggests there might be. If that fits the situation of course ?
I've been given an old e-bike - I can't find a name on it, the battery sits on the downtube and is blue with a large handle on it, it's old? Any idea what it might be? I have no idea - looks like a motorised shopper, there's a controller with nothing but a key insert and no LCD looks about 30+ years old. I have no idea what it is. I have pictures, can you identify it for me please? Rear hub motor about 250-350 I'd say.
Hi question have you I have a Yamaha sduru 1.0 my battery shows e and f my BMS has it gone in protection mode were the blue and white wire is inside as in your video the silver metal part to the left shows signs of burn if I put a new one in would my BMS be ok iv just bought this bike used it had a dodgy battery connector I changed it n I got that error please help had the bike 2 weeks appreciated.
I replaced the BMS, but I don't know what the third wire at the output is between plus and minus. The bike does not want to work without it. Can somebody help me?
Shows how stupid this e-bike and e-vehicle green energy is. A massive part of the bike is not servicable and very expensive to replace. Additionally the used batteries are unlikley to be able to be recycled correctly. All the elements needed to make the lump are all used up after a relatively short life.. In a bicycle it is one thing but on a vehicle it is just so wrong and not eco friendly at all..
You're talking apples and oranges here, EMTBs and E vehicles for fake climate change are not the same. I agree that EVs for environmental reasons are all wrong and a fraud. However no one I know has ever said they bought their EMTB for green reasons. Not one ever... Mainly for fun, exercise and ability to ride farther and more elevation. EMTBs are just plain fun...
You are clueless in regards to anything battery related … your post makes zero sense and is like 99% wrong … I left 1% out to not make you feel completely mad at me since it is holidays.
you can service it but you need the hacking chip to do it but this is not the case for batts that use can bus comms because as soon as you cut power to the bms it is dead and will need reprogramming ect and only 1 company in the world that can do this is liofit in germany but only on some brands and motors. they do this to force you to buy there rip off batts but as my bike has the old gen 2 cx motor the new bosch smart frame batts wont work with my bike as they dont want them to via software.
@@hairyhomerify but not if they go to the local recycling area.. Well maybe they are really organised but I'm thinking not... It would be great if that was the case....
Another cool video Dave! Hope you have a Happy New Year 👍🏻
Thanks! You too!

Thank you for the vid, my battery is slightly damaged on the bottom, but from the vid I guess it should not harm the circuit and the batteries inside

Hi, From what I understand that wire is the wire that the motor sends a signal down to provide voltage, thats my understanding but could be wrong
