Thank you Julia for taking of your time to make all these videos. I love these baskets. I know it's a lot of work to make them. I appreciate them and you. Bless you. Have a wonderful day. 😊❤
Julia, I found your channel with this video just this afternoon. I have to tell you this is such a beautiful and well made basket. I can not believe how sturdy and strong it is. I am now a subscriber. I will watch the tutorial next on the heat treatment. Thank you for sharing. I have got to give this basket a try for sure. 😊gayle
Hi Julia, I used to watch your videos alot and the way you teach these to us is awesome..I learned soo many new crochet patterns from you..But I'd like to have a tutorial of a checkered pattern crochet design for a bag..Please if you could consider about it that would be soo valuable..Looking forward for it..😊love from Sri lanka..🇱🇰❤
I'm so glad I found this video. I could not find the size box I needed, and thought - why not crochet one!! Wonderful video. I am looking forward to crocheting with t-shirt yarn - I have not had an opportunity to do so before.
Hi Julia! Your videos are phenomenal, and I just subscribed! I'm watching and listening while working on another project right now, and am going to give this basket a try on a future project! I'm new-ish to crochet, and I haven't seen stitches before like the ones you're doing here, so this is absolutely delightful! Looking forward to trying this!
Thanks for this Julia. But already a bit stuck with the 2nd round! The stitches don't add up. You have 7 SC stitches from round 1. For round 2 : 3sc, 1sc,3sc,1sc,3sc,1sc,3sc,1sc But that's working into 8 stitches? Maybe I've missed something 🤔
LOVE all of your tutorials, super helpful. What do you call the corner stitches - where you loop through both, drop the third loop ams hook over, then pick up the third loop again….If any of that makes sense 😅
Excellent. She’s using a thick tshirt yarn. I believe the smaller one will be less of a torture to work with. I hope. Luv the way u explain in detail. Good luck☺️. Will b subscribing and working with you.
Thank you so much for all your very thoughtful videos. Please why does the base of my square basket become wavy. i repeated it so many times and tried a few crochet bigger and smaller in size but the results were always the same... Unfortunately
Hi👋🏻 Well, as you can see in the video my square base wasn't flat too when I finished it. I did the wet-heat treatment and it became flat after that. But if your square base curls up even much more than mine, then maybe you made some mistake somewhere or maybe you made your stitches too tight or different sizes. Try to follow my advice from this video about the length of the loops while making every stitch
Thank you for thi tutorial, it's very clear! Can you please tell me what is the length off the T shirt yarn (preferable in cm) that you used, Thank you
Hello Julia, did you use the Bobilon 5-7 or 7-9 mm? How much of one ball (or how it is called in english) do you need for one basket a little bit bigger and higher? Which colours are the ones in basket? Thanks and best wishes from Germany 🙋🏼♀️
Been trying to make a basket with Red Heart yarn. I did the base but having trouble getting the sides to stay up. Should I use 2,3,or 4 strands of yarn
I have finished the bottom of my basket: what is the “wet heat treatment?” Ironing? Also. I switched to an N hook because my hands hurt so badly, I’m not sure it is helping. How do you crochet with this yarn and not end up in pain?
New Subscriber here, your tutorial was the easiest to follow, I'm excited to follow all of your projects, looking forward for your success here in RUclips. I hope you make a bag pack tutorial next time, Thank you!!
Hi. I made a rectangular base following your other tutorial. there are three stitches in the coreners of rect base. Do i have to do the same to all three stitches as like the two stitches in the corner of square base shown in this video. please reply. Thank you.
Hi. You should make the same change in the last row of the rectangular base as we did in this tutorial ( 28:25 ) and you will have two stitches in your corners too
Hi julia. I've watch most of your video. Thank you for your effort to make this. I found your IG and you've post 2 years ago that your country is on war. Hope everything fine with you and family. I hope you can posting something soon on your social media to make us less worry.
I loved your round basket but i cannot get the square base right ☹️ i unraveled and did it again but still no luck ... any help would be really appreciated 🙏 (I think i cannot locate the proper v mark to put the second sc after the first corner)
My hand literally died!! I’m using a thicker type of that yarn and size 9 hook.. and the yarn keep twisting.. can someone help what’s wrong?? I keep trying to keep it straight and neat like the video but I can’t , there’s gaps in between the stitches 🥺
The same as in my video: ruclips.net/video/-xc7CtVHeCI/видео.html For the walls of the basket: put the basket on its side and steam the bottom wall on which the basket stands. Then turn the basket and repeat the same for the other sides.
Hi! I tried making this but the basket turned out floppy and went outward. Does anyone know What I did wrong? I want the walls of the basket to just go straight up like in the video.
I can't tell you the exact amount of the yarn but if you use the same yarn and the same size of a hook, you will need not less than 110 meters but also this amount can vary depending on how tight you crochet
The pattern looks nice, but your tutorial is unnecessarily complicated. You failed to mention the number of stitches we are supposed to get in every row, thus making the project prone to errors. The join stitch is needlessly complicated too, a normal slip stitch would suffice. You failed to mention which side of the base square would be towards the viewer. Thanks anyways.
@Zinooo777 I wouldn't say you'll completely fail it, but I have found a similar tutorial that looks exactly the same as the basket in this video, and it's WAY shorter and easier to follow. It's by a RUclips channel called Hopeful Turns.
@@Velvet003 Thank you for pointing out those flaws, i just watched the video again and you are right, especially the base square part, thank you for saving me an hour, would've gotten a headache because i'm quite a beginner
I loved the way you made the corners of the walls . Great idea!❤

I thought it was just me! I've undone this 1000 times and started again. Should we be starting with 8 in the mr then?!
I've just looked again and it almost looks like where we push the circle through our loop it creates a new stitch
I did the same thing. The joining adds a stitch I believe. Watch the video closely. It ends up working correctly.
Thanks à lot for the tutorial, very well explain. 💖
I maked circle basket it was awesome thank you dear wish you all the best 👏❤
Thanks a lot :)

New subscriber thank you for the tutorial

Hi Julia
In each row the first stitch moves 1 place to the right
What to do when it becomes exactly on the corner?!
????

Hi! How many grams of yarn that you used? thank you!
Up
Unfortunately I don't know in grams
Can I use 8 mm hook ?
What size hook are you using?
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

My edges just don't come straight I don't know why. I follow all the steps, but the edge goes at a slant. :(

How many meters of yarn used for this
Who can explain that treatment?how it makes flat?

What brand of yarn is this please? :)
Barwa

What type of yarn is this I can't seem to find it
It's T-shirt yarn
What size t shirt yarn I think it comes thin and some thick
How many meters or grams of yarn is required ?
I can't tell you the exact amount of the yarn but if you use the same yarn and the same size of a hook, you will need not less than 110 meters but also this amount can vary depending on how tight you crochet
Hola. He intentado dos veces y la base no me queda 😢 , queda olanuda! 😓

What do you call this stitch?
We call it just a single crochet stitch but I know that in some countries people also call it as a waistcoat stitch
What size is this?
You can find it on the timeline
