Too Many Bones: Undertow allows for 1-2 players out of the box, but by bringing in additional Gearlocs from the original game or adding in characters like Ghillie, Nugget, and Tink, you can create an adventure for up to four players. Undertow features all new baddies, encounters, tyrants, and a double-sided battle mat. Battles take place both on land and on your raft, adding even more variety and brain-bending tactics."

Don't forget that Gasket can't actually use loot for the benefit on the card (like the one that gives a gearlock a consumable die), instead he basically eats it for 1 of 2 benefits.
Given that, I would make sure gasket is carrying the least useful two loot items. Maybe give duster both Fortunate Discoveries.
No worries there! I plan to go over Gasket and his unique abilities when we enter combat which is coming up right away! :) Giving Duster both discoveries is certainly the way to go. Thanks Zachary!

Congratulations for making videos for 2 years! Great to see Too Many Bones back. (I like it so much!)
Just a quick note that Power Converter (Gasket die 16) starts at the value 0. It can be seen on Reference sheet->Critical Gasket Details->Power Converter.
For the day 2 encounter, I would choose the second option. More loot is better. I think that Undertow is fairly easy compared to base game, so it means that the first few days you should go for the higher rewards (Nobulous is the most difficult tyrant to fight in Undertow I think). The third reason is you have done the same in the base game by choosing the second option (am I correct?), you have no difficulty in playing against 4 1pt baddies. The fourth, and the final one (wow how can I come up with so many reasons?), is your impressive luck that most of us don't have. Wish you all the best in the upcoming year and in this game.

Excellent runthrough for an excellent game. Just waiting for campaign bits to come out soon as sometimes the beginning can be a bit samey.

The campaign stuff really adds to the experience. Undertow has compatibility stuff within as well. But AoT adds a lot to that!

Congratulations and thank you Adam, two years worth of fantastic, instructional and entertaining videos. This is a fantastic giveaway, I would love the base game but I have Undertow and the map so I will opt out and let someone who doesn't have the game have more of a chance. Now to the adventure, I would opt for Distraction, one less point. We have lots of treasure and we are still going to get the rewards WHEN we succeed. A video a day would be fun. Thanks.

Great start Adam. Fantastic loot haul for the first day. Remember that Gasket cannot use loot in the conventional way but can only use it to recharge his power converter by discarding it.
It was quite the awesome first day to be honest! You’re 100% correct on Gasket. I’ll be sure to speak to that. That’s another reason I loaded up Duster but didn’t want to get into specifics until we have our first battle. Keep that feedback coming, it’ll be super helpful! :)
Rolling Solo no problem. I only mentioned it as the way you were talking it seemed as if you were going to use them for Gasket and thought I better say something before the next episode. Congrats on 2 years. The time has just flown by. I think I joined you during the Gloomhaven community scenarios so I’ll have to check how long ago that was.

I am glad to discover your channel. I am just starting with the hobby and still have no community to play with, your channel made me realize that there are games that can be played solo! I had this idea that all board games are played with at least 2 players or more. I grew up playing Monopoly and a detective party game I forgot which game. You've opened my eyes to the wonders of solo gaming! so thank you for putting up these videos!

Try looking at the Internet for a gaming group that has regular meetings in your town or a city close by!
Glad you're here Edward! Solo gaming is a great way to play. You not only get to play any time without waiting but can also learn the game prior to teaching others if you want. It's hands down the best. There's a ton of games out there to suit your tastes. Just have to find them. Hope this channel helps you out!

Congratulations on 2 years of excellent solo gameplay videos. I think you should go for the "easy" top option. You don't really need another loot atm and you need to live long enough to get the extra training points and I think it would help to explain the BQ and surprise mechanics to those who have not played the game before. I think it is difficult with a game like this to decide when to allow audience participation because you could just as easily stop after combat resolution and ask the audience which training points to go for :) Thanks for giving us a choice anyway.
Great points Stephen! I thought at least with the encounter choice it’s a bit more controlled. I think voting on training points could get out of hand haha. However I may throw a couple times in during the playthrough to do that. Thanks so much for watching and the feedback!

Since you got so much great loot in the first round i don't foresee the need to hit the 4 loot max this early. Therefore, an easier first battle to help ensure you get the progress point and skill points seems to be the more beneficial rout.
Great give away and watching your setup in the previous video and the start of this play-through has massively increased my anticipation for my copy.

I'd definitely opt for distraction. I fewer baddie point, start w/ surprise, and we're pretty loaded up with loot at the moment.

Congrats on two years! Just wanted to mention, you keep talking about using loot cards for Gasket, but part of Gasket's innate, I believe, is that he cannot use or benefit from any loot cards. He just burns them for something. I haven't played him myself, but one of my buddies was playing him last week. I really have no grasp on how he plays, as it just seemed so bizarre from across the table, but that part definitely stuck with me. Can't wait to see more!
Ah yes! You caught this as well! I didn’t want to go into specifics before we battle for those that are just learning but you can be sure I’ll be covering this in the next video. For now I moved most loot to Duster for use. Thanks for watching and thanks! ;)

This is one game I am seriously Jealous of those who own it, frantically still saving to order it plus some additional goodies direct from CHG. It's that shipping to Australia that is the big killer.
Good news is the games will be waiting for you to pick up anytime. No stress! I can understand the shipping is tough but you’ll understand why when you get them. They top quality and have some serious weight!

Correct me if I'm wrong, gasket can't use treasure cards and he can only discard them to increase his yellow die I forgot its name ( the one that lets him heal ) right?

How much of your current loot do you think you'll use in this battle? If not a lot, then I don't think the extra loot (since only Gasket can carry any) will be worth the extra Baddie Point. Thanks for the play thru ... this will be fun!
